Patagonian Fox, Argentina

I have one this cute fox postcard in a lottery, how lucky :) Many thanks to Ana for organizing it.
The South American gray fox (Lycalopex griseus), also known as the Patagonian fox, the chilla or the gray zorro, is a species of Lycalopex, the "false" foxes. It is endemic to the southern part of South America. It is actually a small canid, measuring 65 to 110 centimetres in length. It is a largely solitary animal that has long been hunted for its pelt.

UNESCO - Jesuit Block And Estancias Of Córdoba, Argentina

The Jesuit Block in Córdoba, heart of the former Jesuit Province of Paraguay, contains the core buildings of the Jesuit system: the university, the church and residence of the Society of Jesus, and the college. Along with the five estancias, or farming estates, they contain religious and secular buildings, which illustrate the unique religious, social, and economic experiment carried out in the world for a period of over 150 years in the 17th and 18th centuries.
Another thanks to Ruben, this time for his homeland unesco :)

UNESCO - Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina

The Los Glaciares National Park is an area of exceptional natural beauty, with rugged, towering mountains and numerous glacial lakes - including lake Argentino, which is 160 km long. At its farthest end, three glaciers meet to dump their effluvia into the milky grey glacial water, launching massive igloo icebergs into the lake with thunderous splashes.

It is always a pleasure to receive a postcard from Argentina, and then it doubles when it is such a fantastic UNESCO view! Plus, the selection of stamps, so nicely cancelled, adds to its beauty. Thanks so much Cynthia :))

Buenos Aires, Argentina

The aerial view of Argentina's capital Buenos Aires with its extensive Parque Tres de Febrero in the foreground, situated in the city's largest neighbourhood (barrio) Palermo.
This postcard was received for a 12-12-12 date swap - the cancellation is wonderfully large and clean, but I have such trouble identifying the stamps..! They show Perito Moreno glacier and the southernmost city Ushaia, but there is no year of issue. Thank you Julio for this swap :)

UNESCO - Iguazu National Park, Argentina

''The name "Iguazu" comes from the Guarani or Tupi words y , meaning "water", and ûasú , meaning "big".Legend has it that a god planned to marry a beautiful woman named Naipí, who fled with her mortal lover Tarobá in a canoe. In rage the god sliced the river, creating the waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall''

Argentina - Magellanic Penguins

Penguins are amazing creatures aren't they? I have once seen them in nature - but I can talk about that when posting a related card :) I definately haven't seen these cuties, who inhabit the southern coastal regions of Argentina and Chile, and the Falkland Islands. They grow to be 60-75cm tall and mainly feed on molluscs and crustaceans. Sadly their status is near-threatened because of the regular big oil spills :(

I was stoked when contacted on the offficial site for an 'argentinian swap ' - i love the country and it would make me really happy to be able to travel there! Whats more, this card is simply amazing, and the stamp and  cancellation too. Thanks so much Silvina! :)))
