Updated: Glasgow Comic Art Convention 1991 brochure added to the listing

...and today it's the turn of The Glasgow comic art convention (GCAC), which ran from 1990-95...I've included the listing of all those that contribute pin-ups to these programmes. These are great and well worth tracking down.

UPDATED: Clive Barker's 'Hellbreed' - Marvel UK

Michael Carroll's timeline of Marvel UK comics (here) has an array of interestingly short-lived comics on that I thought I should create cover galleries for them. Sometimes this is easier said than done but let's look at the 3 issue Clive Barker's Hellbreed comic from 1995.

The Cartoon Art Trust auctions

I've looked at the various publications associated with the Cartoon Art Trust / Cartoon Museum before.

And now for something different - the sales catalogues for two fundraising auctions that Bonhams held back in the 1990s. They may have been other auctions but, for now, these are the only two I'm aware of.

First up is this sale on Tuesday 26th September 1995

The second, "The Cartoon Art Trust Fin de Siecle Charity Auction", was held on Thursday 20th May 1999

This was a much smaller auction, just 40 lots this time. None of the lots have a estimate and I don't know the 'hammer' price on any of the lots. I'd have bid on...

UPDATED: Flintstones comic - 1994/5

I'm filing this under '90s comics I don't know enough about' - I know that issue 1 came out with a cover date of August 1994 and that issue 11 is cover dated March 1995. What I don't know is how many issues were there and when did it go fortnightly (as it must have done to get to 10 issues by February when issue #1 only came out in August)? Hopefully I'll be able to update this at some point in the future. 

This is not to be confused with the Marvel UK title 'Flintstones and friends'.

Now updated with covers for issues 17, 18 & 19 - so this is three issues longer than I knew about until now.
