UPDATED: Simon Harrison art in various places

Listening to the "Mega City Book Club" podcast this week about the art of Simon Harrison inspired me to go and see what of his non-2000AD comics I'd acquired over the years. The following is my list of that work but I'm sure there's more out there...

Update: I've just realised that Simon's work also appears in a few of the old UKCAC convention booklets. I've picked this one out in particular (with its cover art by John Bolton)...

...because it features this Shuk & Doode illustration which should be of interest to anyone who (like me) has recently purchased (here) the Shuk & Doode collection

Warhammer monthly comic - issue 11-20, cover artists guide

I never read Warhammer monthly back in the day and have only started picking it up in recent years - it's packed full of well-known (2000AD) creators and plenty of other not so well-known names.

Anyway, a covers gallery is a good a way as any to act as an introduction to a comic so over the next few weeks I'll show you what the issues all look like.

First up is issues 11-20...

Warhammer monthly - issue 11, cover artist Simon Coleby

Warhammer monthly - issue 12, cover artist Paul Staples

Warhammer monthly - issue 13, cover artist Simon Harrison

Warhammer monthly - issue 14, cover artist Wayne Reynolds

Warhammer monthly - issue 15, cover artist Paul Staples

Warhammer monthly - issue 16, cover artist Wayne Reynolds

Warhammer monthly - issue 17, cover artist Kev Walker

Warhammer monthly - issue 18, cover artist Karl Kopinski

Warhammer monthly - issue 19, cover artist Simon Davis

Warhammer monthly - issue 20, cover artist Paul Staples

new Eagle unknown cover artists - part 1

Quiz time!

My comic reference spreadsheet listing the contents, artists, writers, story titles etc. of all the comics I have collected has a few gaps in it and I'm hoping that some of you good people out there will be able to help me fill in at least some of the blanks...

1). new Eagle #323, 28th May 1988 - signed "AW" - but who is that? Andrew Wildman (that's a guess based on his initials rather than his style)
This is now confirmed as Anthony Williams

2). this is just signed "Simon"
This is confirmed as Simon Harrison

3). This one feels like it should be really easy but somehow my brain just isn't connecting..
