ChRiSTMaS!!!

Christmas morning was so fun. We had it at our house this yr with Gma Katy, Great Gma, Amanda, and Tim. Cohen wasn't real sure what was going on at first but the second he saw he had presents, the light went on! I had to talk James into letting him get a play kitchen. I know that he is boy but, boys can cook and clean too ya know, but anyway he LOVES it. All morning he was making us eggs, pancakes, fruit, etc. He also loved to help everyone open their gifts. He was so funny. He would start to open one of his presents and say "Oh my goodness, what is it?" He brings so much joy and happiness to our lives its amazing. Bosten of course had no idea what was going on but sure did love the jumperoo he got. As usually we got spoiled this Christmas. I am probably the worst person with getting Thank You cards out so I am going to give out a huge cyber THANK YOU to everyone. We are so lucky to have such great family and friends who care about us. Thanks again for everything. Also I wanted to thank James for being such an awesome Father and Husband. He is always so helpful and will do anything I ask. I was shouting demands all morning. Thanks babe.

Christmas Eve...

We went to Gma and Gpa Fountaines for Christmas Eve and had lots of food and fun. Gma DeAnn got a little anxious and had us open a few gifts. One of the gifts was a trip to Disneyland in Febuary. I am so excited. I have been trying to get James to go for a looooong time. Later on we gathered around the piano to sing Christmas Carols. Cohen thinks that he is quite the pianist as well as singer. It was so cute. We had a wonderful time.

ChRiStMas PaRtY!!

We had our annual friends Christmas Party and of course it was fun and competitive. We played a Christmas carol game which we lost by 2 to the freaking Giles'. Than James and I won the Santa making costume. I think when James got into character, it put us barely over the edge for the win. There were some pretty good costumes...as well as a dirty one (we wont tell you who made that one:). James and I were victorious after a gruling tie breaker contest. We had to try and throw Christmas cards into the garbage. This is much harder than it sounds. I was the only one to make one in, though Darek was very close, with one balancing on the edge. Well anyway it was good time and we always have so much fun together. Thanks Rakelly and Angela for the great party. Till next year.....Oh, and did I mention that James and I were the overall winners? :)

The Polar Express

Last Tuesday, we took the Polar Express to the North Pole! It was a lot of fun. The elves made us cookies and hot chocolate. They read us the book "The Polar Express". We sang lots of Christmas carols while waiting for Santa Claus. It took Santa a while to reach the train car we were in but it was worth it. I was a little nervous that Cohen would freak out when Santa came, but he didn't. He talked with him and then Santa gave him a bell from his sleigh. Thanks Mom for the memorable trip to the North Pole.

CoOkIe playdate

Carson and Valerie invited Cohen and I over to decorate cookies and watch a little Christmas movie. Cohen had a blast decorating the cookies. Val had everything set out in these little cups with red, green, and white frosting, as well as 4 different kinds of sprinkles. The boys loved it. Thanks again Val and Carson for inviting us to play.

New Family Pics

We had family pictures taken and I am so happy the way they turned out. Thank you so much Nicole!! I was really worried about them because the boys absolutely did not want to cooperate, but they are fantastic. You really can't tell that they were being little stinkers by the way they turned out. I am so happy and again a big thanks to Nicole. (here are a few of my favorite favorites...) Look at those Gorgeous Blue Eyes
Uh, so I added a little slide show of some more because I love so many of the pics..enjoy

TODDLE GYM CLASS

Cohen and a few friends go to a mom and me gym class every Thursday. He LOVES it. They run around, sing songs, attempt to do somersaults, walk the balance beam, hang on the bar, etc. (Thanks Val for introducing us to the class:) It makes him so tired and ready for a nice long nap. Yesterday after class at 11:00am, we got in the car and he said, "I go take a nap?" Normally I would say, heck yes but it was only 11, so we ran to Costco bought some groceries, (I always buy stuff I don't need there) sampled all the testers and came home and he walked right up stairs and went to bed. It was fantastic.
Cohen and Carson tired from all the physical activity.

New Puppy...Little Rosy

Little Rosy is the newest member of the Fountaine family.... Gma and Gpa Fountaine family that is . She is so cute and playful. Cohen absolutely adores her. She is the only dog in the family that will play with him....sad I know. He even lets her bite his snuggy bear and then drags her around.

Girls Night...

We girls like to get together every once in a while. This time we celebrated Whitni's Bday. We went to Johnny Carino's for dinner and then to the Festival of Trees. We always have such a great time together. We honestly have such a great group. I'm not the real emotional lovey dovey type but I truely love all of you so much. I am so blessed to have friends like you. Anyway blah blah. Too bad the Festival of Trees was so boring, but it was good to get out and see everyone. (not pictured Ashley and Katie, they were a little late:)

Hopefully we will see everyone at the Christmas Party....I'm sure we will have no probably with everyone "bringing their competitive spirit" (ha, you guys are going down!!)

Cohen gets a HAIRCUT!!

So with much deliberation and the poll, we decided it was time to cut Cohen's beautiful hair. I asked him if he wanted a haircut and he replied,"No, cut my hair." This was such a dramatic experience for him. He was crying and screaming. I felt so bad. He finally settled down when she stopped using the clippers, but man it was sooo sad. He looks like a completely different kid. He's like a little man. Sometimes I look at him and think who is that? Its crazy how dark it is. Well, I am getting used to it and keep telling myself that it is just hair. You can see his beautiful features more and he really is as cute as ever still.

Childrens Discovery Museum

We went up to the Children's Museum this wk with a good friend from the ward and her little boy, Carson. Cohen had a blast. He was loving every minute of it. To bad it's clear up at Gateway cause I would be there at least 3 times a wk. There is so much for him to do. They can play house, a contruction zone, a little pretend market and farm, water area, etc.

Cohen and Carson played with the balls forever. Check out Cohen's hair.

Cohen loved playing with the little motorcycle and Firetruck/car. When he would see other kids starting to play with the motorcycle, he would start to chase them down and say "My mot-cycle" and I would have to nicely remind him that is wasn't his and he needs to share. There was also a helicopter outside that they could play in and pretend to drive. He was very curious but there were too many "big" kids running in and out of it so he was intimidated.

The Tree

It's done, the decorating of the tree is finished. I'll be honest, I'm not one that enjoys decorating the Christmas Tree. It's not that it is putting on the lights because James does that. I am pretty sure that its because eventually I will have to take it all down. Its kind of like making dinner...I enjoy making it and seeing the final project, I just really dislike the clean up. Its horrible...ahhh. I know I need to change my attitude cause there is always going to be clean up and thats that. (not the best pic, oh well)

Griswalds or What?

Last weekend we decided to go out and get a Christmas Tree. This is always a fun adventure for us, especially since we do not have a truck or SUV to help with transporting the tree back to our house. We find this perfect tree, but how do we get it home? James finds some twine from another tree and proceeds to tie the tree on top of the car. While securing the tree tightly on top, he doesn't realize that he has tied the drivers door and the door behind the driver shut. There was no way he was going to be able to get in through the drivers side. This was actually quite funny. After James had crawled through the passengers side, we were off. We were totally Griswalding it. I can only imagine the looks on peoples faces as we were driving down the freeway. I am sure they were picturing Chevy Chase. Well what an adventure. We always have such good times together.
We get it inside and the smell of fresh pine instantly takes over. That is why I love getting a real Christmas tree. Now hopefully it will last till Christmas Day!! Wouldn't that be awful if it died...I would be so sad:( But the way my luck is going I will have a dead tree. Cross your fingers!

Thanksgiving...

We had a great Thanksgiving at my Mom's house. Cohen helped make a delicious banana cream pie. The food was fabulous. After our big feast, I wanted to play Monopoly. Oh my gosh, I remember now why I never play this game...IT TAKES FOR-E-V-E-R. Finally after like 3 hrs we finished. We then played a really fun game called "Old Mexico". It was really fun being all together. Tim was so kind to wear his Utah hoodie for rivalry wk, though he wouldn't show his face for pics...? Ashamed maybe? :)
Thanks again Mom for the wonderful day, the food was great and all in all it turned out to be a great time.

6 Months Old!!!

Wow!! I can't believe our little Bosten is 6 mths old. He is such a joy and blessing in our lives. He is so smiley and easy going(except that he won't take a bottle:). I feel as if I don't take as many pictures of him or post anything about him....so this post is going to be all about our little Bosten Bean.

A little slide show of the past 6 mths.....

CHAMPIONS!!

Flag football has come to an end for the fall and Platinum Funding(formally known as the Platinum Hornets)are the CHAMPIONS!!! They played a great game against the Heat, shutting them out. They then played an inter-league championship game against Quick-6....their nemesis. Quick-6 has been playing together for yrs and has some great athletes. The games are always very close and SUPER competitive, but we never can pull out the "W". Oh well, there is always next yr. (There is a flag football tourney in St. George in Dec...maybe will we beat them then:)

(A few pics from another game)

Dance Party at the Sheffield's!!

Despite having two sick boys and lack of sleep, we had a great time visiting Heather. The night before we left the boys had a Dance Party. It was so funny. Carter was going crazy. Cohen loves to dance but would steer clear of Collin. Collin is quite the little breaker dancer for a three yr old.

A little worn out from all the dancing. (look how red their
faces are).
