Lake Powell...

JD and Cindi Dawson invited us and 6 other couples to Lake Powell last weekend, and it was sooo much fun! We played lots of games and did lots of boating. It is always a good time with the Dawsons!!

look at the Beauitful scenery

The Guys
(josh, jd, darek, james, bryce, austin, brad,& troy)
The Gals
(me,alicia, danielle, kim, angela, jen, cindi, & hayley)

The "Crack"
We climbed up and through that crack. It was a little scary at first, but once inside it was really neat. On the way out a few people decided to jump......
We played lots of water football. The guys allowed us girls to play a few coed games!!

James surfing the wake for the first time.

Austin jumping the wake, he and JD are really good. (I didn't get a pic of JD)

JD and Josh trying to start off the house boat.

Chillin while boating. JD and Cindi have a sweet boat, all the other boaters would stare as we passed. The rangers would pull us over to get a better look at the boat and of course the hotties on board :)

5 out 8 of us girls were reading a book from the Twilight series!!
We had such a good time! James and I are getting a little better at wakeboarding and surfing. I will have to post the video of me getting my face kicked by the water....it hurt so bad. I am just thankful that i was able to see when I opened my eyes. Thanks again to the Dawson's for the invite! And a big thanks to my mom for watching the boys!

{Cohen and Bosten}

Because this is like my journal, i thought i would update on the Boys......
**warning-long post**
{Cohen is 3......}

what more can i say? Most days we just struggle with a listening problem, but now that Bos is mobile and wants to play with what Cohen has, we have a little brotherly tiff. This usually consists of Cohen pushing Bostens forehead, Bos doesn't quite understand and trys to keep going. Its actually pretty funny, but Bos gets so sad. I have to remind Cohen that Bosten is still a baby and he doesn't understand. The majority of the time Cohen is an extremely good big brother, he will play with Bos and feed him, give him drinks, protect him, and just hug him sooooo tight! I am beyond grateful that they get along.

Cohen finished up itty bitty ball about a week ago and he really loved it. One of the last classes was football. Cohen was in heaven. They even tied flags on them. At one point they had one kid run with the ball and two others chase them and try and get the flag. Cohen was up first. He ran so fast and had the biggest grin on his face. He said " I run wreally fast and they not get my fwag!" I wish I had taken my video camera that day.

Cohen also started swimming lessons yesterday......the first day didn't go so well, but today he did great. He called James after and said "I get in the big pool all my self, we pway games, and bwow bubbles." He is just so stinkin cute!
A new saying of his is "what da heck" and the other day at our friends house he said "what da frekin heck". I just about died, i obviously need to watch what i say!!
His favorite color is purple (dont even ask.....)Favorite foods-um?..mac & cheese, corn dogs, chicken, pb&j, and "old mic donalds" (mac donalds:) Best friend.... Carson. These two boys are so cute together (they are only a week apart). They play so good. We are lucky to live so close and to have friends like the Fords!
Cohen also loves the Animals at Thanksgiving Point. He now will only ride the "biggest horse".

Cohen is really polite and extremely sweet. He will be the first to tell ya he loves you and give you hugs and kisses. He is still attached to his "snuggy bears", he treats them like dolls. He takes really good care of them and if we can't find one of them for nap or bedtime...oh man, watch out! He loves to play ruff with his dad and to be thrown around and i literally mean thrown. Cohen also loves to help...great cleaner and cook. He also loves to dance. He has this distinct little jive. Seriously he is at such a cute stage and its a good thing he is so cute b/c some days I want to scream!!

{Bosten is 1....}

and also really cute. He is mobile, but not real close to walking. He adores cohen and loooves to try and play with him. He wants what cohen has. Bos has about 10 teeth, 4 are molars. He has the cutest little laugh. Cohen can get Bosten to laugh so hard. Bos also has this quirky little grin (when i can capture a pic i will post it). He is now a really good sleeper and loves to snuggle.
This kid can EAT...he is a bottomless pit. He really enjoys chicken, yogurt, cottage cheese, vanilla wafers.....and pretty much everything else. :)

He is really good at the sign language we have taught him. He does "more" and "please" the best and it's b/c he wants food, NOW! He will wave and say"hi" he can also say "uh-ooooh". I keep reminding him that if he does it on purpose, its not "Uh-oh"....i'm pretty sure he's not listening. He has been known to throw little baby fits when he doesn't get his way. Bos is also really good at climbing the stairs.....he also likes to climb up on things and sit there, like he just climbed a mountain....... he thinks he is so big and gets the biggest smile on his big face. Speaking of big.....the kid has the biggest head. At his 1yr check-up his measurements were: length 28 3/4 inches=10%, Weight 19lbs=5%, and Head 48.1 cm=90%. Are you kidding me? The way the kid eats, you 'd think he'd be about 50%, but no........his head though 90%, crazy.
Bos really likes his "Nuk" (binky) and loves his "snuggy bear".
When asked where they are he immediately starts scanning the room. It's really hard to take "snuggy bear" away from him esp in the mornings and when really tired. Bosten also loves the water and will bolt up the stairs after breakfast to get in the bath. Bosten has this signature move he does.....i would compare it to the downward dog pose in yoga.

Bos is also at a really cute stage and he is so happy and loving. I love to peek in on him at night.....i always want to pick him up and squeeze him. Both kids are so cute when asleep and I always want to snuggle the snot out of them. I'm pretty sure it's Heavenly Father's way of reminding us how precious they are , regardless of how the day went! I love my boys and am so grateful for them and how happy they makes us everyday!

BoOnDoCkS!!

While my little sis was in town from Alabama, our grandparents to us to Boondocks. (for those wondering what sis?.....she is my dad and his wife's daughter) She had never really been to a place like Boondocks. We had so much fun.....rode the go-karts over and over, laser tag, arcade games, etc. Cohen also had a blast. He loves to play the basketball game there and play in the "Kiddie Cove". I tried to get him to go on the go-karts with me, but he wasn't having that......he wanted me to go "super fast"! Thanks again Gma and Gpa for the fun night!!
