Tooth #2.

Cohen lost his 2nd tooth on his 2nd day of school!
He told me this morning that he didn't think his tooth was gonna last that much longer.
And while eating a peach, he yelled out, "Mom, i lost my tooth!"

This kid is getting to big for me.
Loosing teeth, kindergarten......its all so bitter sweet.

First Day of Preschool.....

For BOSTEN!
Bosten had his first day last week.
He was very excited.
He helped pic out his outfit the night before and he chose his new T-Rex shirt.
He has the cutest smile, with his dimples up by his eyes.
I lub it.

Water Balloon Fight.

The Fords invited us to a fun back to school water balloon fight and it was loads of fun!
Thanks to Val for spending some much time filling up all the balloons.
All the kids were laughing and smiling!

I stole this fab pic from val.
Thanks Val for the fun night!

The Pond.

We finally made it to the pond.
It has a little beach area with sand and a swimming area.
There are real live fish in this pond, so if you have a fishing license and a pole, then you can fish too.
We have neither, but the kids ask to fish every time we go.
The kids love this place.
Its ridiculously dirty and the sand isn't "beach" sand, but it makes for a great time and fun memories!
Cohen and Bos look so goofy/cute here.
With the googles and funky life jackets, it was worth taking pictures of and remembering.
Mckay and Jags were so cute doing their own thing and getting sand all.over.themselves.
Mckay's eyes are just amazing. I can't get enough.
(these pics are straight from the camera. no editing, no photoshop.)

This butterfly was right by the kids hanging out and they thought it was so neat.
*and just for remembering sake, as we were headed to the pond cohen and bos were asking me
*are there sharks in the pond?
*what about crocodiles?
*are there piranhas?
snakes?
No, no, no, and no!
Do you think they have watched shark week and National Geographic shows lately??
Yep they have and they love it.

10 year HS Reunion.

Wow. I guess im divulging how old im getting.
I went to my 10 yr HS reunion a couple weeks ago and dragged James along with me.
He was thrilled, let me tell ya :)
Luckily he is pretty good friends with my friends hubbys.
It was good to see those who came.
I wish more people would have been able to make it though.
*the girlies*

*the hubbys*

Shay won the award for "being the first one to purchase reunion tickets".
Funny. Best part, was that she thought she had to plan the 20th yr reunion. ha.
She was freaking out.
Derek (aka-Big Country) was my senior prom date.
He's like 6'7".
 Me and CC.
I seriously love her.
We played basketball and softball together for yrs and were roomies at Snow College.
A blast from the past for sure.
I was feeling bad for james, but i think by the end he really enjoyed himself :)

Katy Perry.

For Valentines Day, I surprised James with Katy Perry tickets.
Most people  told me i was buying these for myself, but believe it or not James likes Katy Perry and i thought this would be fun for us to do.
The concert wasn't till the end of July and actually fell on one of my besties bdays.
I put the word out to my friends and told them to buy tickets as well.
A few of them did and we had a par-tay!
We met and had some good grub at The DoDo.
Then headed off the the concert.

The opener for Katy was not good, but from the second she walked out on stage
IT.WAS.AWESOME.

We had such a good time singing at the top of our lungs and dancing.
We were all so sweaty.
Thanks to James for always being so fun!

Playing in the RAIN.

We have had some crazy summer rain storms around here.
I was determined to let my kids run and play and get ridiculously wet when the next one rolled in.
We had our cousins over when it started pouring.
The kids all came running in and were standing in the garage.
I told them to go and play in the rain.
They all just gave me this blank look.
Carter kept asking "cami, we tan get wet?"
Yep buddy, go and get as wet as possible and i'll take lots of pictures of all the fun!

I was about to run and play in the rain myself.
This was so much fun.

Sneak Peak

A little sneak peak of what me and the mister have been up too.........

24th of July

Not much was going on the 24th for us, so we decided to have a little BBQ with a few friends/family.
We went up and borrowed gma DeAnn's big water slide.
The kids love that thing.
We swam all afternoon, then had the bbq, then had a little firework show.
It was once a again a fun relaxing holiday.

The Johnson's brought over yummy cupcakes, and as you can see Jags really enjoyed his.
atleast what he got in his mouth :)

Wild Animal Park.

On our trip in SD, we hit up the Wild Animal Park.
It was a good break from all the swimming.
When we first arrived, we headed straight to the Safari tram.
On the way to the Safari, we stopped to feed the very friendly ducks, and we also saw this wart hog and her baby.
and this leopard.
We made it to the Safari tram and our tour lady was great.
I learned quite a bit.
I had been reading reviews about this park and a lot of the remarks mentioned how expensive the park was and how it's not really for the public, its just to help fund their research and breeding.
Well they were absolutely right.
During our ride i became very educated about the animals.
Many are on their way to extinction, some can't or won't breed in captivity, etc.
I found it all fascinating and realized why it cost what it did.
****
There were a lot of Giraffes.
I want to say that the guide said that some species of Giraffe have now been put on the Endangered Species list. sad.

This White Rhino is one of 6 left in the world.
Pochers sell the horns for $36,000 an ounce.
Its a delicacy in Asia.
We then headed to the Elephant exhibit and watched the elephants find their morning snacks.
Bos got this little orange tiger bag with his kids meal at lunch, and he loved it.
Carried it around like this the rest of the day.
The Gorilla's.

This ones named happened to be Cammie. awesome.
This Gorilla just had a baby.
She carries it up-side-down.
We had a great time at the park.
It got pretty hot and the boys started to get grumpy, so after the Gorilla's, we said our goodbyes.
Thanks again to gma and gpa for taking us!
