the JERSEY...

We were lucky enough to go the JAZZ game again and we decided to buy Cohen this....

(i decided not to take my camera and im kicking myself esp since we bought this jersey. cohen was so stinking cute at the game)
He was so excited! Like i've mentioned before, the kid is a huge Jazz fan. When we got home he wanted to sleep in it, and then asked that in the morning after his shower if he could put it back on. That night he said his prayers and this was part of his prayer...."thank you for memo and deron and AK and boozer and for the Jazz game".

The next day was Sunday and after church, he again asked for his jersey and shot hoops all day long, while telling us how much better he is now with his jersy.

We got the jersey saturday night and every day before nap he asks to put it on and he has slept in it every night since.
He loves to show me the "big 8 and the small 8".

Go Jazz Go!!

We love going to the Jazz games, so when DeAnn and Farrel offer us their tickets, we're all over it. Cohen esp is a huge fan. I know he is only 3, but he can tell you and identify almost all the players and their #'s. He gets so zoned into the games and says stuff like..."good shot Memo", "there's AK" and "You see that Dunk" . He's such a funny little guy. Bos did pretty good and is into it for a while, but the poor little guy gets sooo tired and just wants to go to bed.

Right as the team was getting ready for the tip off, Cohen said,"that striped guy, has to whistle and frow the ball real high." He's so observant it's scary. We really have to watch what we say and do these days. For example, the other day while he was shooting hoops, whenever he would miss he would say," damn it". I didn't make a big deal out of it and would just say when he would miss dang it or oh darn and he hasn't done it again. AHHHHH!

Kauai

We have been home now for 2wks and I am still recovering from our great vacation. We had such a good time. It was really relaxing. We are the type that just love to lay on the beach, snorkel, and read. It was great to go without kids, but by the middle of the trip you really start to miss the little buggers! Here are a few pics of our adventure and like i said we pretty much just chilled at the beach, so there wasn't a lot of picture taking going on.

We went on this fun late afternoon Whale Watching cruise. None of the whales were really close to us, but we saw a lot of spouts and tales. I asked Ade to take a picture of James and I and then she just kept taking pics. It was pretty funny and James just kept on posing for her!

Here are some of the creatures we saw.....i guess the seals will just come and lay on the shore for hours and then go back in the water, weird. There is this spot where these turtles just hang out. This one turtle was huge and just kept coming up way close to us. The last creature on the right is the hairest man i have ever seen, plus he was wearing a speedo, which made him even cooler!

A huge thanks to DeAnn and Farrel for providing a great trip. And a huge thanks to everyone who helped with watching our boys!

Clarification

Some of you have asked and wondered why I waited so long to tell people we were pregnant and also wondered how i didn't know. Well believe me, I knew. I was pretty dang sure around the first of Dec that we were prego. I didn't really let the cat out of the bag for a few reasons...
*I was kinda hoping i was wrong.....DE-NI-AL!
*I dont get sick, so i just went on with life
*so busy, that i didn't think about making an appt yet
*and one of the biggest reasons is, that i feel the second we tell the sec I get huge and let myself go. Its like over night my belly gets gi-normous.
*and quite frankly, i just wasn't ready. like said before, i wanted to get pregnant in july, not give birth.
Anyway we are excited to add to our family. We need some suggestions for names, so if you have some cute ones let us know!
**on a side note our trip to Kauai was great! Pictures to be posted soon. We had a great time without kiddos, but missed the heck out of them at the same time. anyway I will do a Hawaii post soon. tootles!
