DISNEYLAND!!!

We just got back from an awesome trip to Disneyland. We got a 5 day hopper and then just upgraded to an anual pass. So now we can go to Disney all yr! We went at such a good time. The lines were so short, the whole place was decorated with Christmas, they would make it snow twice a night, the characters wore Christmas sweaters, the castle was so pretty, it really was just a great time to go!
The boys did great. Cohen's favorite part by far are the characters or at least the ones he knows. The excitment on his face when would see one was priceless. He was a little timid at first about riding some of the rides, but by the 3rd day he couldn't get enough. He loves loves dumbo and the Buzz Light Year ride. He and Bos also loved the parades. Bos was a good trooper and never once got scared of any of the rides. We did two character breakfasts. I would recommend the Minnie and Friends one over any of them and we have done 3. We just had the best time and loved every minute of it. I am so glad we are able to do such great family vacations. James is so patient with all of us and works so hard to provide for our family. Thanks so much babe! Well there are alot of pics and i will just have to choose some of our fav's.
**okay so warning...picture overload**
We were lucky to get a pic with both Mickey & Minnie.

Since Cohen now knows all his letters, he thought is was pretty cool that there was a "C, like Cohen".
**click on collage pictures to make bigger**
Can you see the looks on his face? He loves the characters! He would literally run up and jump into them and give them the biggest hugs!

He doesn't know Alice in Wonderland and you can definitely tell by his face. The kid kills me!!

We finally were able to find Donald Duck the last day. I think he is probably Cohen's favorite character. He was so excited and loved every minute of seeing him!

Last Feburary when we went to Disneyland, Cohen kept saying that he didn't like "Capain Hook" and this carried on this time too. Well at the character breaskfast Captain Hook spent alot of time with us and Cohen thought he was so funny and now he says " I wike Capain Hook"!

We had such a great time. Thanks to DeAnn and Farrel for hooking us up with a great place to stay. Also a big thanks to my mom and Frankie who came with us. Frankie is like a huge kid in a candy store and probably loves Disneyland as much as Cohen. And again thanks to James for planning such a great trip!!

Oh Christmas Tree.....

We went and got our Christmas tree the other morning. And yes we all went in our jammies, with no make-up, no baths or showers, just all natural! We found that Harmons grocery store has the best trees for only $34.99. I love having a real tree and I love that it makes the house smell so good! Cohen loved picking out the tree and yes he chose the one we took home. When he saw James trying to saw the end off, Cohen quickly went inside and got "his tools" and wanted to help (it was so cute, and he really thought his tool was working!!) I love this time of yr and I esp love going and getting a tree as a family and decorating it.

Family Night BOWLING

We had one of the girls who is staying with us pick the family activity and she chose bowling. We had so much fun. Cohen and Bosten loved it. Cohen loved pushing "his" ball down the ramp. He would get so excited and then when it only knocked down a few pins, he would turn around and stomp off while saying, "dang it, dang it. my ball." Bosten on the other hand would throw is hands up and cheer for everyone good or bad.

Meet Lauren....and meet Julia...
They have been staying with us for a while. Julia will be leaving us in a wk and Lauren is here until she decides!!

First of November...

Since I have been a huge slacker, here is the happenings of the first half of November. (oh my goodness I can't believe that it's already the middle of November...AHHHH!) Okay so here is the beginning of a really long post and probably only those who are family will be able to make it all the way through it.
WARREN'S BDAY PARTY
Haley threw an awesome carnival/circus themed bday party for Warren. She went all out....cotton candy, candy apples, clown, pony rides, duck pond, pin the tail on the donkey, etc. Cohen and Bos had a blast. Cohen's fav part was the horses and Bosten's was a tie between his candy apple and the duck pond.

This Clown was amazing. She made Cohen a shark and made Warren an awesome Octopus.

CORNBELLY'S
We headed to Cornbelly's on the 1st. I wanted to go the whole month of Oct, but didn't get around to it. So we got there the very last day it was open.
The boys loved the slides esp little Beaners'.

Cohen wanted to ride the mechanical bull the second he saw it. We ended up having extra tokens, so we asked if he could ride (i was totally thinking he would be too small). He was a little timid at first, but ended up loving it. He was all into it with one arm up and yelling Yee ha. The sad thing is my battery died and I could not take any pics of my little bull rider:(
MADAGASCAR 2 Escape to Africa
We got invited by Cohen's little buddy to go see Madagascar 2. My mom was so great to take Bos so that Cohen and I could enjoy the movie. The kids did really well at first and then got bored in the middle and then they were into it again towards the end. Look how cute they are sitting there all nice and quiet (if it only would last...)

DESSERT PARTY and a little American Idol
My neighbor had this fun little dessert party, where everyone brought a yummy treat and the recipe. The food was great, but I think the entertainment was better....

And the best picture of the night....belongs to Martha! Since she "doesn't do blogs" then she will never know I posted this lovely pic of her!! (Ha she will know asap and she is going to kill me..ha)
**wow did ya make it all the way through that? well, this is only a smidgin of whats been happening, I got lots more to come. we are busy busy around her these days**
Oh yeah, we had to talk in church last sunday and i wanted to die. it was awful. I stuttered, i couldn't even introduce us and when i am nervous, i do this little cry thing. oh it was awful and i told the bishopric NEVER AGAIN, but i need to thank my lovely husband for writing my talk. he is the one who accepted this dreaded event anyway, its the least could do!!! :) love ya babe

TrIcK or TrEaT!!

We started off the night with a fun little get together with the neighbors for dinner and then headed out for trick or treating. I made James dress-up again and he wasn't to happy, but was a good sport as always!!:)

As we started leaving to trick or treat, it started to rain. The day had been perfect thus far and then bam..RAIN. It let up a little, so we went on our way.

(We could only find this pink umbrella. Cohen didn't care, he is comfortable with his femine side!)
My little Dragon and Zebra were so cute.

Bosten started to catch on really quick and would hold his pumkin up and then squeak out a "taank-ew". He would immediately look in to see what he got, if he got a sucker he'd stop and try to eat it right then. It was really cute, but he was already really slow and this made him even slower. Cohen was done after only a few houses. He didn't like the rain and was worried about his costume. He said, "My ears are getting wet" and I said your real ears or your dragon ears? And he said, "my dragon ears".

Bosten got a sucker.....

I think Cohen had more fun handing out candy then he had trick or treating. He would get so excited when the door bell would ring, he'd grab the bucket and have this huge cheeser. When a long time would pass w/out any trick or treaters, he would say "where all the trick or treaters go?"
I was excited my mom was able to trick or treat with us. She handled the video camera, while i took pictures. This pic pretty much somes up how grumpy Bosten has been this last wk. He was getting some teeth and then got a little cold. He has been so clingy and ridiculously whiny, wants to be able to see me at all times and doesn't want anyone else to hold him. Its a good thing he was a cute little Zebra, because by Halloween night i had just about had it!
