More Easter FUN!!

We took Cohen to the Easter festivities at Thanksgiving Point, which I will never do again(way too many people). He had "Koda" painted on his face and went fishing. A clown made him a "pink dog" balloon animal, which he asked for. A pink dog...? We were shocked, where the heck did he come up with that? The Easter egg hunt was ridiculous. There were like 300 people. Cohen started to get whiny and didn't want to do it, but when it came time James picked him up and ran him to the front of the crowd so he was able to get some eggs. He then was excited about it. He told us he wanted to open his eggs in the car and go take a nap. After naps Gma DeAnn had a hunt with the grandkids and Cohen loooved it. He was so funny finding eggs as well as when he would open them. He cracks them like real eggs (I included a little video, its so cute). All in all we had a great weekend with lots of fun.

Easter Weekend

This past week my Dad, Beth, and Mckenzie were in town from Alabama. We spent Easter weekend up in Ogden at my Grandparents house. The Easter Bunny hid some eggs for Cohen and he had a blast searching for them. My Grandma likes to take LOTS of pictures so here are a few from Sunday. My cousins Tom and Nick came up for Easter dinner. They are always fun to hang out with. Thanks again Gma, Gpa, Dad, Beth, and Mckenzie! It was fun to see everyone.
Cohen loves for James to throw him. He will keep saying "do it again, daddy...wreally high!"

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Happy St. Patrick's day!! The boys and I met some friends at Kangaroo Zoo and had lots of fun. Bos is still a little sick....hence the drool and snot all down his shirt. We are going to have a yummy St. Patty's Day dinner; consisting of green eggs and ham, green grapes, green koolade, and some other foods that will not be green. Tootles.....

Cohen and his CuTe Personality!!

Cohen lately is talking up a storm and saying and doing the funniest things. He loooves his "Snuggy Bears" and has wanted to take at least one everywhere we go lately. Last night he carried his Snuggy in from the car and was holding it like a baby. He then told us that he needed to put it to bed. He carried it up stairs, grabbed the other one, as well as all the blankets and pillows he could get and made them a bed in the hallway. He said they were sleeping and that we needed to be quiet. James started to vacuum downstairs and Cohen went down there and turned off the vacuum and said, "That's too woud Daddy...my Snuggys are sweeping."

Another thing he has been doing lately is gathering all his blankets and pillows around himself. The pillow thing he gets from James. James sleeps with about 4 pillows and 2 have names! So the other morning Cohen got up and went to get Daddy and he saw James and said,"Daddy, wook at all your pilwhoa's". Oh, he is at a cute stage right now.

GOOD news and BAD...

So the good news is, is that Bosten is feeling sooooo much better. He is still a little congested, but that's it. He is sleeping a lot better too, thank heavens for that. We didn't even need to nebulize him. Now for the bad news......since we have the world's crappiest insurance, hardly anything is covered:(
Nebulizer=$300 and we didn't even use it.
Prescription =$209.33
Drs visit= don't know yet, but at least $100. (At least that's what it is for a well baby check-up). Total= $609.33.......can you believe that? I wonder if I can return the Nebulizer? Does anyone know about that? So obviously we need new insurance. We pay out of pocket since James' job is kind of like being self employed. Anyway it sucks and I should have just waited one more day to see if he would have just kicked it himself.

So SiCkY:(

Bosten is sooo not feeling good. Last night was probably one of the WORST nights ever. He wouldn't/couldn't sleep. He has a horrible cough, snot running down his face, as well as drool. He won't nurse because he can't breathe. I feel so bad for the little dude. James was such a sweetheart and slept downstairs with him, because at 2:30am I had had enough (the only way the kid would fall asleep was in the bouncer). I took him to the Doctor today and he has Bronchiolitis, which can turn into to RSV, lets pray it doesn't!! We have to do a nebulizer treatment q4-6hrs. Lets hope he gets better soon, because I cannot do another night like last night......ahhhhh.

Cohen and his Daddy

Cohen absolutely loooves his Dad (and I do to:). James is always playing with him. The second James gets home, he and Cohen start playing. Cohen is totally a Daddy's boy. They will throw the football, play baseball, tackle eachother, jump off furniture, and Cohens new thing is to go down to the "play place" (the basement) play golf and ride his Lighting McQueen and fourwheeler around. Anyways here is a video of Cohen and Daddy playing.....

Cohens ART project....

Cohen lately loooves Bosten. He is always wanting to "play" with him. The other day while I was updating the blog(and blog stalking:) and not paying much attention to the boys...... (because they were laughing and pretty much right next to me) I looked down and saw this.....
I didn't get mad at Cohen and tried not to laugh, but it was pretty funny. I had the little talk with Cohen about how we only draw on paper and blah blah. He freakin thought he was Picasso and was hamming it up.....that stinker!!!

NeW SToLLeR!!

I got a new stroller and I Looove it. It's a Phil and Ted Sport double stoller and it is so compact. I don't feel like I am pushing around a huge caboose. If I were to do it all over again, I would have gotten this first. It goes from a single to a double. I have spent so much money on strollers....I first got the travel system stroller, which was great, but huge. Then I needed an umbrella stroller because I didn't need to use the travel system any more. So...with having a second child I needed a double. My sister got one of these while living in Manhatten and it was awesome and durable. It can be used in so many ways. Anyway I love it and just wanted to share it with all those new moms out there searching for a stroller. Wow, that was quite the ramble...tootles!!
Look how cozy Cohen and Bos are? This stroller was a lifesaver at Disneyland. We switched Cohen to the front seat since he cared more about what was going on.

Softball in St. George

This last weekend we had a wedding in St.George/Cedar City for a cousin of mine. James was also invited to play in a softball tournament, so it worked out perfectly!! My mom was so awesome to take Cohen with her to Loa for the 2nd reception. Thanks again, Mom. We had so much fun in George. The weather was in the 70's. The team played pretty well....they have the potential to be awesome though. JD and Cindi Dawson are always so fun to hang out with and thanks again guys for letting us stay at your house. Hayley and Darek also made the trip, as well as a few other of our friends from PG(rakelly, josh, ryan, and Joslyn). The tourney was fun and warm and it was fun to get away from the cold. Now I have spring fever:)
Sad after a disappointing Loss:(
