PLAYBILL: NOCHE DE PAZ

NOCHE DE PAZ
Libro y Letras de Juan Ignacio Bruzzo y Música de Damián Mahler.
Dirección de Damián Iglesias.

Lo único bueno por decir de esta obra es que se hizo y dio trabajo a muchos actores. La premisa, que podría haber sido la base de algo mas potable, se pierde entre gritos y manierismos, y mas gritos y melodías feas y muchos mas gritos y letras sin nungún sustento ni rima interesante. Y mas mas mas gritos. Ana Acosta, Sebastián Holz, Diego Bros, Patricio Witis, Ana de Vincentiis, Martín Repetto, Florencia Spinelli, Joan Ramis y Federico Aquilano. La construcción del rol de la madre por parte de Diego Bros era de una groseria estrepitosa! Y la misma suerte corrieron los personajes de Repetto y Acosta. Lo justo es justo: los chicos de la familia (Patricio Witis y Joan Ramis) son los únicos que armaron algo creíble de sus personajes. Nos fuimos al mediar la función.

NOTAS EN TINTA DE CAFÉ

Obra chiquita, pequeña, petit, a riesgo de casi no tener un argumento potable: Escritor argentino viviendo en EEUU accede a escribir un guión de una película romántica sin tener mucha idea de eso llamado amor. Se le aparece su musa (o conciencia) para enfrentarlo a la falta de romance en su vida y tratar de arribar a buen puerto con algo para presentar a los productores. Toda la obra es una excusa para interpretar canciones de The Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll & Hyde, West Side Story, The Sound of Music y Love Never Dies. Bellas interpretaciones y muy lindas voces, aunque poca química entre los protagonistas. Ella debería considerar calzar zapatillas en vez de tacos porque produce mucho ruido al caminar. Todo bajo la dirección de Pedro Velazquez. En el teatro El Marechal.

Llegó a Buenos Aires SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE! A festejar!! Quien lo haya visto en video se encontrará con una versión bastante fiel al original, incluso en los pasos de baile que uno pensaría que solo bailarines y cantantes de color podrían hacer tan bien, y aqui, nuestro elenco argento no tiene nada que envidiarles. Y eso que fué en la noche de estreno!! Clasicos de siempre de Leiber y Stoller (Stand by Me, On Broadway, Kansas City, Poison Ivy, Hound Dog, Yakety Yak, I'm A Woman, Jailhouse Rock, entre otros) desfilan uno tras otro en voces privilegiadas. Todos los cantantes se lucen por igual, pero no puedo dejar de mencionar a Belén Cabrera y Cristian Centurión, quienes logran momentos sublimes. El elenco son Sebastián Ziliotto, Mariano Condoluci, Emanuel DeGracia, Daniela Flombaun, Diego Jaraz, Sofia Val y Patrissia Lorca.
