Whale of a case

Congrats to Rox todays featured stamper! Yayy Rox! I cased her fintastic card . I love this ocean friends set by Kim Hughes and the whale was one images I hadnt inked up yet. I kept the blue/green color theme but I used some dp from a MM stack I got from HL and paired it with PTI ocean tides and Coredinations brown cs. I changed the layout from Roxs card to Jens sfytt. I added some buttons and piercing to finish off my card.

We had a fabulous time at the beach and of course didnt want to leave!LOL!! Now I get to tackle all the laundry we brought back. Why is it that laundry seems to grow when you go out of town?!!!LOL! Have a great day!

Bambi Inspiration

I made this card this weekend while Mama and I were spending some stamping time together. I used Saturdays Inspiration challenge and Amy's Friday sketch. The IC came from a site called Little Odd Forest and I picked these bambi booties as my inspiration. I instantly seen twitterpated dp and SU forest friends!LOL! I love this yummy paper! I got mine at Treehouse stamps. No coloring on this card!! Can you believe it?!!LOL! It came together pretty quickly too so I was happy!

We are heading off to the beach in the am for a couple of days now that school and VBS are over with (big sigh of relief inserted here!LOL!). Whats up Gorilla friend?!?!

Today I thought Id share a card with you I made for the High hopes challenge. The challenge this week is pink and brown! Love it! I pulled out some of American crafts tropical cs. I love this pink! I paired it with SU choc chip. Ive seen where lots of people are using the Labels 3 nesties and circles and I have to say I love the look of it! I pierced the corners of the label also.

I colored the super cute High hopes gorilla using copics and added a few highlights using my white gel pen. I also blushed the cheeks a little and added a dot of white gel pen too. The sentiment cracks me up! I made this for one of my gorilla friends!LOL! Have a great day!

Washington Apple Sushi

Todays color challenge is bashful blue, pumpkin pie, and so saffron. I knew I wanted to use Washington apple dp b/c it had all 3 colors in it but I actually forgot it had riding hood red in it. I decided to go with it anyway!LOL! I've been trying to work on using different patterns of dp on cards. I have a hard time mixing patterns even on dp from the same stacks but love how other cards look with it! Not sure if Im lovin this. Its a little too busy for me!LOL! I love this adorable Sushi fish I got from TH stamps though!! I colored her using copics and added stardust stickles to her fins. I added the bubbles to the bashful blue layer and the sentiment is from SU retired Very punny. The layout is from Julees Mojo88.

Im hoping the rain will stay away today so we can actually get in our pool and be little fishes ourselves!LOL! Maybe thats what inspired my card today! Have a great one!

Hinged Swingin Shannon

It has been a LOOONNNGGG two weeks!!LOL! We changed internet/cable provider and there was a mix up with the dates and we were w/out internet and cable for over two weeks! Cable I can live w/out but not my internet!LOL!!! Im so behind on everyones blogs and challenges! So you have to start somewhere right?!?! So I started with todays fun technique challenge. When I saw todays technique challenge I knew I had to use this cutie High hopes image! I thought she was perfect for the hinged card. I colored and outlined her using copics which of course I forgot to write down! Sorry!! Ive seen alot of blogs where they are taking pics of the copics they use if you would like me to do that also please leave me a comment that you would like for me to take a pic of copics used. Hope you have a great Memorial Day!

FL Bound

Sorry I dont have anything new to share with you today. My oldest daughter had a field trip today to a local state park and Im getting everything together for tommorrow!! We will be FL bound in the a.m. to stamp with Kim from MFT!! yayyy!! Hope you all have a great Mothers Day weekend!! (((HUGS)))

Such a deer

What a great sketch Rox picked for us to play with today! I had to pull out an already colored image and make a quickie card that turned out not so quickie!LOL! This is one of those cards you keep adding stuff to but Im happy with the end result. I didnt have room for the sentiment so I left it off.

Im super tired tonight! We went on a field trip today so Im making this post quick!LOL!

Aloha Leilani

I love ballet blue so I had to play along in todays color challenge. My girls have put in some request for cards to give their friends since its getting close to the end of the school year. As if I wasnt already behind on their teachers cards!LOL! I thought this little girl from High hopes would be perfect! I started the card with a sketch but had to completely change it. I colored and outlined the image using copics. I added stardust stickles to the flowers. Shes just so cute shes gotta have a little sparkle!!LOL!! I popped the image up on dimensionals and stamped the sentiment along the ballet blue panel. I added some wasabi (green pea) brads from Pink hedgehog papercrafts between the sentiment. I wanted them to be more centered but oh well!They look like wasabi periods!LOL! After I got my card put together the right side looked a little bare so I added some paper piercing.

Twitterpated Magnolia

I made this card this morning but my computer has been acting up all day!! My mojo has also gone on va-ca! Ive made several things this week but they have ended up in the trash. I think I have WAAAYYY too many cards piling up so I cant even think about making anymore lately! I havent even wanted to stamp this weekend! GASP!! Did I say that out loud?!!LOL!! We have been enjoying the sunshine and our pool! So my goal for this week is to send out some of the cards I have piling up so I can make more!LOL!!
