Bunny with tulips

I went to Mamas this past weekend for our stamping therapy that was LONG overdue!! Of course since I was at her house I had to go through her/my stamps and came across some we had ordered last spring from High Hopes. I stamped this adorable bunny with tulips and colored him up with no particular dp in mind. I also played with Mamas airbrushing system while I was there and lets just say theres a definite learning curve to it!LOL!! Me thinks I'll stick with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol for shadowing from now on!LOL!! I really must have had this MME Be loved dp on my mind when I colored this image b/c they are pretty close to the colors. So since it was a close enough match to the dp I went for it. I sponged all the edges with distress ink and ran my bone folder on the edges of the melonberry layers and used Coredinations red. So since I was playin of course I forgot to write down any colors I used but I do know I used the e40's for the bunny Im pretty sure it was e 40, 41, 42, 43, and 44. As for the rest I have no clue!LOL!! Hope you have a great day! Only 2 more days til Spring Break and a week off! Woo!HOO!!!!

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know I might now be around for awhile again! This has definitely been a rough year for me. Im going through a divorce right now and I feel my free time should be with my kids to help them to adjust to this. Thanks for visiting and all your sweet comments! Im using stamping as my therapy right now its just hard to get on her and post! I want my blog to be a "happy" place since anyone who knows me knows Im a pretty cheery person but this year its been really hard to pull out some "happy" posts. Thanks for understanding.

Farmhouse Ducky Days

This is a card that didnt turn out exactly how I planned but Im still happy with the results. When I started this card I planned on doing this weeks OCL sketch challenge. I got this adorable Ducky Days set this past July at CHA. I was lucky enough to be able to help Joy and Cambria out at the booth AND they gave me a few OCL sets! Ive been waiting for spring for a chance to ink them up. I have also been seriously hoarding this October Afternoon dp since I only got one sheet! What was I thinking?!?LOL! I do love it though and you will probably be seeing it again SOON!LOL! I even took a shot of the inside of the card again for you! The rainbow and sentiment were actually supposed to be my 2nd panel on my card front but it didnt fit with the duck so I cut it down and put it on the inside instead. Since I really liked the paper and of course the image I didnt want to busy the card front up with embellies so I just went with a ribbon.

Live the Sweet Life

Happy Sunday to you! Its a rainy day here in GA today but at least that means some stamp time for me!LOL! As I was browsing through challenges today I came across Karens Sunday sketch and decided to play along. I was in the mood to do something different today so I pulled out some Flourishes images I borrowed from Mama and colored up these peaches. Im really happy about how they turned out!! I even took pics of the copics I used today!LOL!! The yellow shading around the peaches I did with prismacolor pencils. I did the out of the nesties technique for the leaves. The dp I used is from SU but I cant find my catty so I dont remember the name but it was from last years catty (I think!LOL!) I'm really trying to use up the stacks I have of SU dp well really Im trying to use up the stacks of ALL the dp I have!LOL!! Ive put myself on restriction from buying ANY until I put a dent in my stack and its sooooo hard especially with the new MME dp!! I LOVE the Quite Contrary dp! Okay enough of my whining!LOL! Look I even finished the inside WITH coloring!! I NEVAH do that!LOL!!

Recollections Happy Day

FINALLY!! I actually made a card I liked!LOL! Im telling yall...Ive been struggling! The worst part about it is I cant put my finger on my prob!LOL! So my plan is just to stamp through it! On my last trip to Micheals I picked up this cute Friends Forever Recollections dp. If I havent said it before I'll say it again I LOVE Recollections dp! I love the little tab at the bottom of the dp with the Bazzill dp that coordinates with it but I didnt use Bazzill with this card I used SU Bermuda Bay and Old Olive. I colored up this adorable Oh Happy Day Anya to match the dp then added some cinnamon and stardust stickles to her belt, ponytail holders, and stars. I just love her pigtails!!LOL!! I left my nesties alone for this one and just used a rectangle and sponged the edges with Antique Linen. I had to pull out the skinny ribbon on this one since I didnt have any wider ribbon to match and Im out of wide white! When everyone first started using wide ribbon I didnt like it! I stuck with my skinny ribbon and somehow started using the the wider ribbon and when I used the skinny ribbon on this card I had found I do prefer the wider ribbon!LOL! Im sure thats something you just HAD to hear but oh well Im in a chatty mood! Im just so excited I actually got a card made!LOL!! I punched a star out of the notebook looking dp and put a rhinestone in the center of it for a little bling. I used Tracy's ESS sketch for my layout. It was a fun sketch to work with.

Really quick post from me today just wanted to pop in and share this card with you. Ive been absent because I have been in the BAHAMAS!!!! Omg!! We had sooo much fun!! I dont like posting on here when Im not going to be home KWIM!?! I need help ladies! I have new dp, new stamps, and new copics and I just cant seem to get into stamping lately! I dont know whats wrong with me?!! I made this card before I left so you can see I was in a bright fun mood and it has sparkle. The dp is MME its some I got from Hobby Lobby on our last trip. The flower is one Ive had for 2 years now and finally found a card to use it on!LOL!! Have a great one!! BTW I think the layout I used was last weeks sketch by Mercy.

Tough guy case

I think making all those cards and mass production killed my mojo!LOL!! I havent even wanted to stamp this week..until today so I went looking for a challenge. For todays featured stamper challenge I cased Veras Goodbye, Neighbor card. I kept the layout, colors and dp but used different designs of the dp. I also added a buttony bow even though this card is for a boy he will just have to tough it out!LOL! I also added distressing...lets just say a little rip and then it was an embellishment opportunity!LOL!

Well thats it for me today gotta spend some time with the kiddos since I will be in the BAHAMAS next weekend!!! Yayyy!! 5 more sleeps Mama!!
