Funky flower Fluffles

Todays wt challenge is seeing double. For my double I used the funky flowers dp. Once as my large circle and then I cut out some flowers added some dew drops and popped them up over my image. I colored the fluffles image using copics and prismacolor pencils. I added some grass and sponged some sky using chalk ink. I used Amy's sketch but I made a 4 1/4" sq card. I love making these little cards and they fit in a standard envelope.

Washington Apple Sushi

Todays color challenge is bashful blue, pumpkin pie, and so saffron. I knew I wanted to use Washington apple dp b/c it had all 3 colors in it but I actually forgot it had riding hood red in it. I decided to go with it anyway!LOL! I've been trying to work on using different patterns of dp on cards. I have a hard time mixing patterns even on dp from the same stacks but love how other cards look with it! Not sure if Im lovin this. Its a little too busy for me!LOL! I love this adorable Sushi fish I got from TH stamps though!! I colored her using copics and added stardust stickles to her fins. I added the bubbles to the bashful blue layer and the sentiment is from SU retired Very punny. The layout is from Julees Mojo88.

Im hoping the rain will stay away today so we can actually get in our pool and be little fishes ourselves!LOL! Maybe thats what inspired my card today! Have a great one!

Changito Bitty Dot Bouquet

Sorry Ive been absent this past week but we've been sick here. First Danny got it from someone at work and gave it to Brayden and now I have it. I feel a little better today but yesterday I didnt even get out of the bed until 3:30.

For todays color challenge I did some subbing! I wanted to stamp today but Im completely out of kiwi after the last few color challenges. I got in some goodies from PTI so I decided to use them. Ive been wanting to try their cs so when they released the cs sampler this past month I HAD to have it!!LOL!! I colored changito using gamsol magic matching the PTI colors. I used the OCC sketch for my layout. I pulled out some very neglected quickutz dies for the flower then I embossed it using the swiss dots ef. I added some mini buttons I got from Joanns just b/c I think they are so cute!!LOL! Have a great day!!

Beep! Beep!

When I first saw todays sketch I thought uckkk!!LOL!! I just got in these super cute Spotx Botz availabe at Treehouse stamps so I couldnt wait to pair them with the retired SU Jersey shore dp. I colored the robot using gamsol magic and outlined using cool gray no.1 copic marker. I stamped the cluster stamp with the nuts and bolts tone on tone onto the pumpkin pie layer and then stamped the Beep!Beep! sentiment using versafine onyx above the circles. Even though I didnt like the sketch when I first looked at it the more I look at my card the more I like it!LOL! Brayden has a friend in his class that has a bday next week so I think I will give him this card to give to his friend. I think these robots make the best boy cards!!

I have to tell you Im so excited! Im typing this to you from my NEW computer!! yayyy!! FINALLY!!LOL!! I love it!! Mama and Jessie came over last night and we went to supper and to find me a new computer/stamp desk. It should be here on Thursday and I cant wait!! While they were here they got to meet our new family memebers. Our babies Tanner, Bailey, and Marley. We got them about a month ago and they are growing fast!LOL! They are lab mix and just the sweetest things!! And yes if you've seen the movie Marley and me or read the book my little girl had to name hers Marley!LOL! TSMFL!! Have a great day!

Coal again

I just had to make another card for todays sketch! 1 card down 1 to go!LOL! I love this Fluffles image!! Hes so fun and cute!! I used the frosty day dp b/c I like how the dots in the dp matched the ornaments on the garland. I added waterfall stickles to the blue ornaments and diamond stickles to the tangerine tango ornaments. I used the MS snowflake punch for the candle and added waterfall stickles to add some sparkle.

We all had a blast making candy today even though a couple of batches didnt turn out and my Mama tried to give me a heart attack!LOL! J/K Mama!LOL!

Merry Penguin

Im not so good at the limited supply challenge but I gave it a go today!LOL! I realized after I had finished my card I still cheated!! I was only supposed to use 3 layers! Oops!! Oh well!! Throw me in jail challenge police!LOL!

Todays challenge is to use an animal image (no more than 3 stamps) and you have to use pink in your card. No more than 3 embellishments or 3 layers. I remembered the 3 embellishment, stamps , and pink part! I pulled out my neglected Merry Muffin set. I love this set it has some of my fave Stampendous images and the cutest sentiments in it! I pulled out this fun KI memories dp b/c it has pink to pair with my penguin. I colored the penguin cupcake using gamsol magic and outlined with copic cool gray no.1 marker. I added dew drops and ribbon from Joanns for my embellishments.

Hope yall had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday!! We had a great day!! I even went shopping this morning with Mama something we've never done before and of course she went reluctantly until she found out Staples had a monitor for $100!LOL! Have a great day!

Fluffles cracks me up...

...so I thought he would be perfect for todays get cracking challenge. Ive had this crackled background for about 2 yrs now and I think Ive used it once!LOL! I bought b/c I love the cracked glass look but Ive never been able to get it "just right". I colored fluffles using gamsol magic and stamped over the image with the crackled background inked in close to cocoa. I also stamped the background on the kiwi kiss and pacific point panels. All edges are sponged with close to cocoa. I added silver brads, kiwi kiss ribbon, and the new felt flurries for my embelshiments. I love the felt flurries!!

Well we're off to get ready for trick or treating since our town is doing it tonight b/c we have a football game tommorrow night. Im ssooooo ready for this month to be over with so I can finally breathe!LOL! Happy Halloween!!
