Fińskie stroje ludowe w skali 1/6 | 1/6 scale Finnish folk costumes

Wciąż nie zrobiłam stroju rzeszowskiego dla lalek, ale za to miałam okazję uszyć miniaturowe Fińskie stroje ludowe. Szyłam je w listopadzie, niemal na ostatnią chwilę, ponieważ musiały dojechać do Finlandii na ich narodowe święto - Finowie obchodzą 6 grudnia Dzień Niepodległości. Zdążyłam uszyć i wysłać, ale na sesję brakło mi już czasu. Pogoda była wtedy koszmarna, ciągle padało i wiało. Nie odważyłabym się wziąć tych strojów na sesję plenerową w takich warunkach... Została więc szybka sesja w domu i kilka ujęć w trakcie pracy.

I still haven't made a Rzeszów costume for dolls, but I have had the opportunity to sew miniature Finnish folk costumes. I sewed them in November, almost at the last minute, because they had to get to Finland for their national holiday - Finns celebrate Independence Day on December 6. I managed to sew and send it, but I didn't have time for a session. The weather was terrible then, it was constantly raining and windy. I wouldn't dare take these outfits for an outdoor session in such conditions... So I had a quick session at home and a few shots while working.

Uszyłam trzy stroje. Dwa damskie i jeden męski. Modelami zostali (od lewej) Ella (Mattel, Cinderella), Sean (Ken Looks #5) i Adela (Hasbro, Belle z Beauty and the Beast).

Stroje damskie mają taką sama bazę - białą koszulę i halkę, uszyte z bawełnianego batystu.

I made three outfits. Two women's and one men's. The models were (from left) Ella (Mattel, Cinderella), Sean (Ken Looks #5) and Adela (Hasbro, Belle from Beauty and the Beast).

Women's outfits have the same base - a white shirt and petticoat, made of cotton batiste.

Nie mogłam nigdzie znaleźć odpowiedniego materiału na niebieską spódnicę w paski. I na szczęście dostałam doskonałą podpowiedź od dobrej duszy - jak nie ma, to trzeba zrobić. Zatem zrobiłam. Wyszyłam kolorowe paski na niebieskiej, cieniutkiej wełnie.

I couldn't find the right fabric for a blue striped skirt anywhere. And luckily, I received an excellent suggestion from a kind soul - if you don't have it, you have to do it. So I did. I embroidered colorful stripes on thin blue wool.

Łatwo nie było, ale efekt końcowy wyszedł naprawdę dobrze. 

It wasn't easy, but the end result was really good.

Strój w czerwieniach był nieco łatwiejszy do wykonania ze względu na to, że spódnica jest gładka.

The red outfit was a bit easier to make because the skirt is plain.

W obu wersjach zrobiłam także sakiewki. O ile tą niebieską widać dobrze na zdjęciach, to czerwona chowa się nieco pod gorsetem.

I also made pouches in both versions. While the blue one can be clearly seen in the photos, the red one is hidden slightly under the corset.

Strój męski składa się z batystowej koszuli, wełnianych spodni i marynarki oraz kamizelki z czerwonego żakardu w prążek. I kapelusza.

The men's costume consists of a cotton batiste shirt, woolen trousers and a jacket, and a striped red jacquard vest. And a hat.

Do zrobienia filcowego kapelusza w odpowiednim kształcie wykorzystałam formę, którą wymyśliłam, a mój Mąż wydrukował mi na drukarce 3D. Zdała egzamin doskonale. Z pewnością wykorzystam ten pomysł w innych projektach.

To make a felt hat in the right shape, I used a mold that I invented and my husband printed it for me on a 3D printer. It passed the exam perfectly. I will definitely use this idea in other projects.

Całe trio gotowe czekało na sesję, ale się niestety nie doczekało na nic ciekawego. xD

The whole trio was ready and waiting for the session, but unfortunately nothing interesting happened. xD

Ale chciałam uwiecznić te stroje, więc coś tam jednak zrobiłam.

But I wanted to immortalize these outfits, so I did something.

Zdecydowanie za dużo szyfonu... | Way too much chiffon...

Tytuł odnosi się do tego, że przez ostatnie kilka dni szyłam szyfonowe spódnice w przeróżnych kolorach i rozmiarach. Szyfon nie jest materiałem, z którym się dobrze współpracuje, oj nie. I dlatego chwilowo mam go dość. ;)

The title refers to the fact that for the last few days I've been sewing chiffon skirts in various colors and sizes. Chiffon is not a fabric that works well with, oh no. And that's why I'm fed up with it for now. ;)

Nie robiłam zbyt wielu zdjęć, ale powstała mini sesja z Seanem (Ken Looks #5) i Morganą (Barbie Looks #11). Tańczyliście kiedyś boso na porannej rosie? Bo ja przyznam się, że nie. ;)

I didn't take many photos, but a mini photoshoot with Sean (Ken Looks #5) and Morgana (Barbie Looks #11) was created. Have you ever danced barefoot in the morning dew? I need to admit I don't. ;)

Wygrzebałam z czeluści moich zapasów ten kwiecisty szyfon. Tak, tak. Odleżał przepisowe trzy lata na półce i wreszcie coś z niego uszyłam. ;)

Pięknie komponuje się z ognistymi włosami Morgany. Do kompletu dostała granatowy top. 

Sean niestety nie wystąpił w żadnej modnej koszuli - jak zawsze panowie są u mnie nieco pokrzywdzeni jeśli chodzi o wybór garderoby. Ale na szczęście chociaż portki ma. ;)

I dug this floral chiffon out of my stash. Yes, yes. It was lying on the shelf for three years, and I finally sewed something out of it. ;)

It fits beautifully with Morgana's fiery hair. She got a navy blue top to complete the set.

Sean, unfortunately, did not appear in any fashionable shirt - as always, gentlemen are a bit disadvantaged when it comes to the choice of clothing. But luckily at least he has pants. ;)

Elle (Barbie Looks #2) pozuje na skraju nowej części lalkowego ogrodu. To część projektu z Domem Zielarki. Wzeszła w nim już trawa i niedługo powinien już nadawać się do robienia w nim sesji. :)

Elle (Barbie Looks #2) poses on the edge of the new part of the doll garden. This is part of the project with the Herbalist's Cottage. The grass has already sprouted in it and should be ready to shoot in it soon. :)

I Astrid (Barbie Looks #16). Dla niej wybrałam róż i szarości. Ja wiem, że znów pląsa - ale mam ogromną słabość do tego, jak pięknie układają się te szyfonowe spódnice. To wynagradza trud podczas szycia. ;)

And Astrid (Barbie Looks #16). I chose pink and gray for her. I know she's dancing again - but I have a huge weakness for how beautifully these chiffon skirts are arranged. It makes up for the hard work of sewing. ;)

Denim Doll Day 2023

Dzisiejszy #monday4dolls jest połączony z inną lalkową okazją - #DenimDollDay. Odbywa się on już po raz czwarty, a wypada w ostatni poniedziałek stycznia. Jest to dzień, w którym w miniaturowej garderobie króluje oczywiście jeans. Co więcej, organizatorka tego wydarzenia - Iza (@bella_belladoll) - ogłasza również listę uczestników kolejnej edycji Traveling Doll Pants. 

Zawsze czekam na ten dzień niecierpliwie. Spodnie, które uszyłam specjalnie na to wydarzenie, podróżują po świecie już czwarty rok! Staram się nie przegapić ani jednego miejsca, do którego jadą. W projekcie biorą udział kolekcjonerzy z całego świata (spodnie były już m.in. w USA, Kanadzie, Brazylii, Australii, Japonii oraz w wielu miejscach w Europie).

Today's #monday4dolls is paired with another doll occasion - #DenimDollDay. It is celebrated for the fourth time, and it falls on the last Monday of January. This is the day when there is a lot of denim in a miniature wardrobe. What's more, the organizer of this event - Iza (@bella_belladoll) - also announces the list of participants of the next edition of Traveling Doll Pants.

I always wait impatiently for this day. The pants that I sewed especially for this event have been traveling around the world for the fourth year! I try not to miss a single place they go. Collectors from all over the world participate in the project (the pants have already been in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Japan and many places in Europe).

You may have noticed that one date is missing. In 2021, I had a break from blogging at the beginning of that year and there is no entry about this day.

W tym roku do ekipy w jeansach i innych jeansowych uszytkach dołączyły panny petite oraz... panowie. Nie powiem, że wreszcie i nareszcie, ale tak. Doczekali się. ;)

Oto jak moja ekipa szykowała się do pamiątkowego zdjęcia.

This year, the crew in jeans and other denim clothes was joined by petite ladies and... gentlemen. I won't say finally and ultimately, but yes. At last. ;)

Here's how my team was getting ready for a commemorative photo.

Jeansy, które ma na sobie moja Minie Me (Millie BMR1959) to dokładnie takie spodnie jak te, które podróżują dookoła świata. 

The jeans my Minie Me (Millie BMR1959) is wearing are exactly the kind of pants that travel around the world.

Większość ubrań, w których dziś pozują moje lalki, uszyłam w ciągu ostatnich miesięcy. Lub tuż przed dzisiejszą okazją. Ale są i takie oto egzemplarze, jak np. spodnie, które ma na sobie druga Millie BMR1959. To jeden z prototypów nowego wówczas wykroju, który powstał 5 lat temu. A jako prototyp, w dodatku wymagający dopracowania, został u mnie. A że w kwestii lalek i lalkowych ubrań bywam sentymentalna, to postanowiłam go użyć jako element "jeansowej historii". ;)

I have made most of the clothes my dolls wear today in the last few months. Or just before today's occasion. But there are also such items, such as the pants that second Millie BMR1959 is wearing. This is one of the prototypes of the then new pattern, which was created 5 years ago. And as a prototype, in addition requiring refinement, it stayed with me. And since I tend to be sentimental when it comes to dolls and doll clothes, I decided to use it as an element of a "denim story". ;)

Chętnych do zdjęcia przybywa. Trzeba poprzestawiać wszystko, aby każdy zmieścił się w kadrze. Tym razem jest komu przenosić ciężary. ;)

There are more and more dolls willing to pose for a photo. Everything have to be rearranged so that everyone fits in the frame. This time there is someone to carry the heavy things. ;)

Tym, którzy zaglądają do mnie od czasu do czasu, zapewne wpadł w oko blondyn - jako nowość w mojej plastikowej bandzie. Tak, tak. Zgadza się. To mój najnowszy nabytek jeśli chodzi o panów. Od dawna chciałam dołączyć któregoś chłopaka z serii Looks do męskiej części lalkowej ferajny. Ale ponieważ akurat w tym przypadku jestem bardzo cierpliwa i nie ponosi mnie z nieplanowanymi zakupami - czekałam spokojnie na jakąś okazję. I taka też się trafiła. Blondyn nie uszczuplił mojego portfela, więc lubię go tym bardziej. ;)

Zaczynając więc od prawej - blondyn z serii Barbie Looks z numerem 5. Ma on nowy mold, który nazywa się Sean. Podoba mi się jego zarost, natomiast ubolewam nad fryzurą. Mattel z uporem maniaka robi panom albo plastikowe hełmy na głowach, albo rootuje ich bardzo oszczędnie. Co widać doskonale na załączonym obrazku, bo tak się złożyło, że wszyscy trzej mają "wygolone" boki.

For those who visit me from time to time, the blond one probably caught the eye - as a novelty in my plastic bunch. Yes, yes. That's right. This is my newest acquisition when it comes to men. For a long time I wanted to add one of the guys from the Looks series to the male part of the doll crew. But because in this case I'm very patient and I don't get carried away with unplanned purchases - I waited calmly for some opportunity. And that's what happened. Blondie didn't deplete my wallet, so I like him even more. ;)

So, starting from the right, the blonde from the Barbie Looks series with number 5. He has a new mold called Sean. I like his beard, but I regret his haircut. Mattel stubbornly makes men either plastic helmets on their heads or root them very poorly. Which can be seen perfectly in the attached picture, because it so happened that all three have "shaved" sides.

Na środku rudy Jamie (Ken BMR1959, headmold Tate). Przed tą sesją zdecydowałam się nieco ujarzmić jego niesforną grzywę, bo nie byłam w stanie ułożyć jej w żaden sposób. Skończyło się na cięciu.

A po lewej Harley (Ken BMR1959). On z poniższej trójki ma najdłuższy staż w Kameliowej Pracowni, występował już nawet jako król oraz samurai. ;)

In the middle red haired Jamie (Ken BMR1959, headmold Tate). Before this session, I decided to tame his unruly mane a bit, because I wasn't able to style it in any way. It ended up being cut.

And on the left Harley (Ken BMR1959). Out of the three below, he has the longest internship in Kamelia's Atelier, he has even performed as a king and a samurai. ;)

Ponieważ zimy się już chyba w tym roku nie doczekam, postanowiłam iść w wiosenno-letnie kreacje. Wykorzystując jeden z moich ulubionych wykrojów uszyłam sukienki z wzorzystego jeansu. Zarówno w rozmiarze standardowym, jak i plus. Od lewej Silvana (Holiday Barbie 2016), Barbie Looks #1, headmold Lina (jeszcze nie dostała imienia) oraz Morgana (Barbie Looks #11).

Since I can't wait for winter this year, I decided to sew spring-summer outfits. Using one of my favorite patterns, I sewed dresses from patterned denim. Both standard and plus sizes. From left: Silvana (Holiday Barbie 2016), Barbie Looks #1, headmold Lina (not named yet) and Morgana (Barbie Looks #11).

I kolejne rudowłose panny, Kate (Mattel, Lady Tremaine, Cinderella series) oraz Brigitte (The Barbie Look City Shine Purple Dress) w błękitnych szmizjerkach - ta sukienka pasuje każdej lalce.

And more redheads, Kate (Mattel, Lady Tremaine, Cinderella series) and Brigitte (The Barbie Look City Shine Purple Dress) in blue shirtdresses - this dress suits every doll.

Wróćmy jednak do przygotowań i przemeblowania. ;)
