Let Love Grow by Jenn

Hi friends, Jenn here! Wedding season is almost upon on us. I thought this would be a great time to show a quick favor idea if you or someone you know plans to tie the knot this summer. These are really simple favors, that are not only sweet but practical.

I used the small bags and used twine and jute to decorate the bag. Next I made a tag with directions on how to "use" these favors. I chose to fill the bags with wildflower seeds so guest could watch love bloom and remember the happy couple. I also think a sweet alternative could be vegetable seeds, and or perhaps the specific wedding flowers so guests can plant their own.

I simply attached the round labels onto white cardstock and cut around them, added a few stickers and lettering and attached them onto the bags with twine and jute. These bags would be so fun to customize to ones wedding colors and decor themes. For these three examples I chose to go simple and elegant with black and white.

I hope this idea sparks some inspiration for your wedding or even backyard get together...why not pass out sweet little bags of seeds at any party.

Trio of Valentine Cards by Shanna

Hello SRM friends!!  Shanna here again with some fun new cards using a few of the adorable stickers SRM has available for Valentine's Day!  Perfect to give to a few special somebodies in your life!!

...and here they are!!

This is a standard A2 card base in white, double matted and spritzed with shimmery pink color spray, the sentiment was popped up with pop dots on an additional piece of white cardstock.  I love the sparkle the shimmer mist provides as a backdrop! The treat bag was great envelope for gifting this card..I love using non-traditional envies for my cards, I added the doily last minute, it fit perfect!!

This mini card is 2x3 in size, with distress inks smoothed in a watercolor background.  Absolutely one of my favorite techniques and super easy! Adding the age-old sentiment "Be My Valentine" was a no-brainer!!  A few heart sequins added the perfect touch! Loving the lacy linen bag as my envelope...it even has a little room left for some sweet treats!

Lastly, a 3x3 card that slid perfectly into this linen dotted bag!  Another dose of ink smooshing worked great to frame up the fun heart in the middle.  The border stickers are a fun way to frame up a small project as well!  The polka dot bag was a great match for an envelope, I can slide in some sweet treats or even a gift card if I wanted to!

Linen Bags! by Michele

Good morning friends, Michele here with a fun holiday project!  I am totally loving these new linen bags! The polka dots totally slay me!  I often pull inspiration from the stuff collected on my desk from other projects, like these red flowers. This was my starting point. 

I decided to punch a black tag and stamp and emboss the little cup and sentiment from the Fall Plans Planner stamp set.   I loved the little checkerboard pattern and stamped that between them for a bit of interest.  I dabbed my finger in a bit of white ink and ran it over the edges to give a chalk board effect.  ( A technique I hadn't used in a LONG while!) ;) 

I added green glittery leaves and gold twine nestled under the flower. 

For the holidays I will slip a few packets of hot cocoa in each bag and leave it 

on one of my co-workers' desks to brighten their day!

Fabric Bags & Stamps by Annette

Susan here today sharing some stamped fabric bags created by Annette Allen for the SRM booth at CHA.  They were a BIG hit! 

I love what Annette does with fabric bags and stamps…. sheer genius!  For these two bags Annette used 2 of our new Jane's Doodles stamps. 

First up is a SRM burlap bag, embellished with 2" white lace and beautiful daisies with a little bee!  This design is from Jane's Doodles new Daisies stamp.  

What a treat this would be to use as a gift bag!  

Love this beautiful stamp with all the fabulous details and wonderful sentiments. 

Jane's flowers are always so beautiful!

Annette's second project is made using a SRM Muslin Bag, Jane's Doodles new Special Delivery stamp and some SRM baby border stickers.  So adorable!

And here's the Special Delivery stamp that is totally adorable and fun!

So remember to combine SRM's fabric bags with stamping.  The results are amazing!

Hugs & Kisses Fabric Bags by Juliana

Hello SRM Fans, it's Juliana with you and I'm excited to be sharing a trio of cuteness with you today using the SRM Stickers Fabric Bags. Did you know they come in a variety of vintage floral colors that are just perfect for creating little romantic gifts of love?

I decorated each bag using SRM's Stickers By The Dozen Valentines set and Labels By The Dozen Valentines set.  To add a touch of dimension to each label sticker, I mounted them on white cardstock and then attached a twine bow with a mini clothespin. Double sided tape worked wonderfully to adhere this piece to the bag. 

The final touch was to then fill each little bag with everyone's favorite chocolate Kisses. These decorated Fabric Bags would of course make a sweet little Valentine's Day gift, but don't you think they would make adorable wedding favors as well? Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Flowers, Flowers, and More Flowers! by Michele

Hi there! Michele here with a plethora of flowers!  I am in LOVE with these floral fabric bags!  As a crafter there are several things I can't live without.  

Like...... glitter. (Obviously!)

Water colors.

Ribbon.

And.....flowers! 

So why not dress these babies up with another flower?  You can never have enough right?  I used SRM's Jane Doodle's stamp set called Fancy Doodles.  I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it in white.  I used water colors and fussy cut them.   

I added satin ribbon, twine, and a sentiment from the We've Got Your Border (bright) collection. 

I hope you share my flower addiction and love these bags as much as I do! 

Vintage Floral Fabric Bags by Shantaie

I just got these new beautiful floral bags in the mail today and I simply couldn't wait to dress them up!

I think I love tea as much as I love coffee, and what a scrumptious way to present a few gourmet tea bags or aromatic loose tea as a favor or a thank you gift!  

I inked the edges of a white doily with pink ink and folded it over the top of the bag, added a paper flower cut with my Silhouette and a double twine bow.  To finish the bag I used a small white punched piece topped with a thank you sentiment sticker.  

 I can't decide which color combination I love best.  Light Pink with pink …

Or Olive with pink.  Just as long as it has pink…I'm OK!

And here's my pretty pair of gift bags.

DIY Birthday Kit by Shelly

SRM's new DIY Kits are to much fun!  In each kit you have everything you need to create 12 favors for birthdays, weddings, holidays and more!  Today Shelly Kurth has take the SRM Birthday DIY kit and put her own spin on it!  Here's the kit!

And here are some of the birthday favor bags that Shelly created!    

Shelly stuck with doing everything pretty much the same as the kit instructions using the supplies in the kit which include 12 muslin bags, 1 Take 2 Birthday Sticker and some twine. Instead of twine she added ribbon, sequins, and instead of using a punched circle behind the "happy birthday" sticker, she used a rosette. She kept everything consistent, so it would be easy for anyone to just make them in a line. The only thing she changed, was mixing up the colors as she thought it would be fun!  

Shelly removed the drawstring from the bag and closed it with a colorful grosgrain ribbon.  Love how her cut one of the border sentiments into little sentiments to add as the finishing touch on her bag.  

Love the different colored rosettes Shelly created and the sequins she added to the sticker once mounted.

You can complete one bag at a time, then easily move to the next. Or you can assemble all your rosettes together first, then bags, etc. Then work everything in a assembly line. 

Shelly placed each one of her "make a wish" sentiments on a piece of colored cardstock. Then cut around the sticker, leaving a little bit of the cardstock to show. Once done, she added a ribbon on the finished bag. 

These DIY Birthday bags would be the perfect activity for a kid's party.  Can't you just see them creating their own favors?  Now there's a great idea! :)  And by the way, you can stamp or stencil these bags too!
