Over the Rainbow Party by Jenn

Hi friends, Jenn here! My oldest daughter is about to turn 7 and has asked for a bright colorful rainbow unicorn party, so today I will be sharing some fun ideas that are sure to put a great big smile on your face!

Yesterday I shared my planner pages that had lots of details about my daughter's birthday.  Today I am sharing lots of things that I created for the party.  Ready for inspiration?  Let's go!

First up lets talk about the invitations... I used a plain white cardstock and stamped the star bunting and celebrate from the birthday planner stamps in clear embossing ink then embossed with white. I noticed I had the exact number of colors in the rainbow as stars so I used the color in Le Plume markers and colored them onto a a clear acrylic stamp block and used them like watercolor with my water brush. At the bottom I added the same colors over the embossed celebrate words to make the words pop off the page and also bring more color to the invite.

I really wanted to create treat bags or favor bags for the party....I used the glassine bags and filled them with colorful skittles and tied a little bakers twine around them with a yellow scalloped circle with the words Rainbow seeds. That was it...super simple, cute and will be fun to display.

Greeting from Shantaie!  I know it's not red, white and blue but I've got something fun to share with you today. 

Hi party people! I love these patterned bags for favors, especially when you can add another dimension to the overall theme. In this case I have a black, mint and gold event. I love the contrast between gold shimmer and the natural feel of jute twine, it's a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll ;)

To make this favor bag, I added a banner of floral print, and gold foil layered under a trio of stars. To the largest star I added a thinking of you sticker, and wrapped the top with jute twine in mint. A sprinkling of gold sequins finish the bag.

Make a Wish Wands by Tanya

Hi there, this is Tanya and I have a fun, happy project to share with you today!

Have you ever wished for a Fairy Godmother to grant your every wish? Wouldn't that be awesome (especially on laundry day)?  While I know it's wishful thinking, if I did have a Fairy Godmother, I would want her to have a Magic Wand just as pretty and colorful as these.

Aren't these fun? And, they were so easy to make!  I started with the Magic Wand Tubes and filled them with some colorful candies.  Next, I cut out some pretty, pastel stars on my Silhouette and decorated them with a gold gel pen and sequins.

Using a die and some glittery gold cardstock, I created a base for the beautiful "Make A Wish" sentiment from the Fancy Sentiment/Birthday sticker sheet.

 Some pretty curling ribbon finished up these wands perfectly.

Now, if only that Fairy Godmother would show up on laundry day!

Kids Craft by Christine

Summer is coming up fast and it's always nice to have a few crafts stashed away to do with the kids!  Christine joining you today with a way to make a butterfly using our Original Tube and White Heart Lace Doilies.

All you have to do to create this is connect the bottoms of the heart doilies and then adhere those to the back of the tube!  Fill it up with candy of your choice! Easy Peasy!

Of course adding some googly eyes and a little smile up the fun factor!  Wouldn't this be a quick and easy treat for your kids or to do as party favors at a birthday party!?!

Graduation is around the corner!  Before you know it final exams and choosing senior pictures will be all anyone with a graduating student at home can talk about! Trust me I have been down the cap and gown road twice!

Shantaie here today to share a fun graduation party favor. 

Along with graduation comes parties, gifts, and celebrations! (claps hands) Yay! I do love favors, and when they are quick, cost effective and clever....well they go straight to the head of the class!  Here I have filled the clear treat bag with smarties not only a super cute pun but it only takes 3 rolls to fill one bag! (Very cost effective!) 

Topping the bags is a layered scalloped circle made from black medium punched pieces and a gold circle, a purple circle and adorable graduation cap stickers from stickers by the dozen graduation and tied on a tag with natural twine using a sentiment I printed, I also added the borders from the stickers by the dozen graduation along the bag. 

Don't wait too long to get started.  Graduation is such a big accomplishment! Celebrate it and show your student how very proud you are! Most of all have fun! 

New Year Confetti Tubes by Shantaie

Hello from Shantaie!

Bringing in the New Year is definitely worthy of celebration, as the clock strikes midnight pop open a TUBE of festive confetti! 

Miniature stars, dots and silvery bits fill these TUBES for a classic New Years color theme.

Each lid is trimmed with STICKER STITCHES, and below the lid is a stripe of gold glitter. A gold bow ties a sparkling star and a STICKER TAG to the container with STRIPED TWINE.  

As the champagne bubbles float in the air, and the bells ring in the new year, toss some pretties into the air and start the New year with a smile! I hope you have a wonderful 2016!

Christmas Tube Favors by Christine

I'm always on the lookout for little Christmas goodies to make and give away.  SRM's clear tubes are perfect for filling with any little treat!  Christine joining you today to show how I used them to make some peppermint filled Christmas containers.

Three of the tubes can fit starlight peppermints!  For these I used the Original Tube and the Mini Tube. You can also fit them in the Tiny Tube!  How much fun is that!?!  I filled them up and then decorated the lids with We've Got Your Border/Christmas.  And then I made a little tree using the Large Green Punched Pieces to decorate the tube.

This was really easy to create!  I simply folded in each side of the punched piece at an angle to form a tree.  I then punched out a white circle and added the gingerbread sticker from the Stickers by the Dozen/Gingerbread Man set to it. Simple, fun, and sure to make your recipient smile this Christmas Season!

Crafty Halloween Tubes by Angi

It's almost Halloween! Hello SRM fans! Angi Barrs here to show you a fun way to get crafty before the sugary filled holiday gets here.

I made some fun Halloween tubes using SRM products. The tubes come in a variety of sizes too. Here's how I decorated mine. 

I used the standard size and the mini tube. They are the perfect size for your candy. I like to fill mine with candy corn since it fits in well with the Halloween theme. Small chocolate candy are just right too!

I added some Stickers by the Dozen Halloween and Say it with Stickers Halloween products to the front of each tube. 

I also made "candy corn" tags using the same set as well. Fun!

BIG Hello Gift Bags by Angi Barrs

Hello everyone! Angi Barrs here with a fun little bag that I whipped up this weekend. I was attending a crop event and a few of the ladies wanted to see the variety of products that SRM Stickers carries.

I was happy to show them some products. We ended up making gift bags for everyone in the group.

I used the kraft embossed bags. The embossed flourish design has such pretty detail that goes great with embellishments.

I used a light adhesive to place an SRM white lace doily onto the bag. I folded down the sides to fit around the bag. I then topped it off with a patterned heart.

I placed a greeting in the center of the bag using the BIG Hello clear stamp set. This one is great to use for a variety of projects.

I added a colorful paper straw and paper confetti to the inside of the bag. I also used a leaf die to add a little more detail.

These bags are just the right size for parties and gifting. They are even great to use at a craft party. My guests loved them. 

Dipped Dyed Linen Bag by Shantaie

Hi, Shantaie here with a quick and totally delightful dip dyed treat bag! 

To recreate this stylish and simple favor mix 2 parts water and 1 part craft paint, dip the end {top or bottom} of a linen bag into the paint mixture and allow to dry,if a darker color is desired dip it a second time. 

   

Fill bag with treats or goodies and add a tag. Here I used the orange punched pieces and Halloween take 2 stickers by the dozen tied on with cheerful and festive striped bakers twine. 

Have fun making a few dip dyed linen bags for your next party!  Use different colors of paint to match your occasion.  Such FUN!

A whale of a good time with SRM Patterned Vinyl by Cathy

Hi everyone!  Cathy here with you today.  My grand daughter is turning one this September so her mom and I are planning a nautical themed party for her.  Think whales, mermaids and pirates...everything that is big in paper crafting right now.  I wanted to create a couple little treat baskets for her brother and sister, so they feel special on her big day too and SRM's new patterned vinyl was perfect for adding a bit of whimsy to these treat pails.  

I used Patterned Vinyl Chevron Grey for both my treat pail and for my Clear Clover Top Boxes.  The vinyl cuts beautifully and I just used the standard vinyl setting on my Silhouette.  This little whales were small enough to use almost like a sticker eliminating the need for transfer paper...easy peasy.  I just stuck them on and then added a fun googly eye and little vinyl heart in Glossy Permanent Red.  I finished the little pails with bit of grey chevron and red ribbon!

For the Clear Clover Top Boxes, I added fun Swedish Fish candy and the layered some washi tape along with border stickers from SRM'S We've Got Your Border/Birthday.  Super easy to do and really adds some interest to these adorable little treat holders.  And as always, I added my favorite finishing touch Maraschino Baker's Twine to tie the box shut!

Here is a picture with all of the little kiddos goodies for Lumen's big day!  I hope they love them.

First I stamped the Doily. Next filled with some yummy kettle corn. Finishing it with Labels by the Dozen (Made By) paired up with Large Scalloped Circle Punched Pieces. I stamped a sweet for you sentiment from Lil'inker Designs and placed the doily on  the A7 Clear Bag Envelope and wrapped with The Twinery: Buttercream. 

A simple but SWEET treat for all your party goers.

Flamingo Party Favor by Shantaie

Hi I'm Shantaie Fowler here with you today, and I was asked to create a party favor using one of our many versatile Clear Containers. While thinking about what to make I realized how many parties I have thrown or attended over the years, and few things make a lasting impact the way a party favor does! It's the part of the event you get to take home with you and no matter how lavish or rustic a favor... presentation is key!

Boy, girl, child, or adult...everyone loves a favor! For a spring gathering celebrating a fashion release I have made these purses with a bottle of nail polish nestled in a layer of fiesta fringe. The Clear Purse seemed a perfect way to present the bright colored bottles! 

I cut a flamingo with my Silhouette and tucked it behind a ribbon bow and a double bow made with strands of Twine in Caribbean and Pink Sorbet, topped off with a fabric brad.  The paper umbrella has a Labels by the Dozen "to and from" tag wrapped around the base, and and a sweet Life is Good sentiment round sticker on the umbrella itself!  Did you notice that pop of color at the bottom of the purse? That is a border  from the Valentine We've got your Border sheet!  It really ties all the colors together! 

Cookies, crackers, markers or marshmallows, favors are a fun and lasting part of your event, you don't need to spend a fortune on a party to make it look like you hired a party planner, you just need a Clear Container and a fun idea!
