Design Team Call - 2016/2017

SRM Stickers, a leading paper crafting manufacturer with a focus on stamps, stickers, vinyl, doilies, containers, twine and calendars, is hosting a Design Team Call! Some of our current group of amazing Designers will stay on with us but we are looking for 6 new fresh faces and talent to add to our team to embark on a 12-month term to begin on August 15, 2016.  If you love working with stamps, stickers, doilies, containers, vinyl and twine, or if you love working in planners, creating with your Silhouette or if you love bible journaling, keep reading because we may love working with you! We're looking for crafters of all types: card makers, layout specialists, vinyl experts, planner people, bible journalists, altered artists, DIYers, Makers, party planners, gift wrappers and specialists in all things home decor to join our Design Team as we head into the second half of 2016 on a mission to dazzle, inspire and create. You're a perfect fit if you love stickers, doilies, vinyl, containers, packaging, parties, blogging, and inspiring others through your work. Now for the details…

Design Team Requirements

You will be required to submit 2-3 assigned projects per month using SRM Stickers.

You will be asked to remain active at the SRM Stickers Blog as well as the Private Design Team Member blog.

You will be asked to participate in special events such as blog hops, challenges, and co-merchandising features.

Your term will be for the period of one year; August 1, 2016 through August 1, 2017.

You will be provided with ample product to create your samples including new releases and a wide variety of complimentary product like Stamps, Stickers, Vinyl, Doilies, Tubes, Pillow Boxes, Glassine Bags, Twine, calendars and more!  

You will be provided with a SRM Stickers Design Team Badge to proudly display on your blog.

You will be designing for a manufacturer and your photograph/bio will appear at the SRM Stickers Manufacturing Blog.

Your work will be promoted to our retailers across the world.

You may be offered additional design team work for special shows, promotions, or publication materials.

As part of our strong relationships with other manufacturers in the industry, from time to time you will receive product to complement SRM Stickers, and to use for your samples.

ATC Tray 2016 Calendar by Amy

Hello everyone!!  This is Amy here to share a fun calendar project with you.  It would be a great gift idea for that hard to buy friend or family member on your list this year.  I created a calendar project with a black ATC Tray that I purchased but didn't quite know how to use.  I saw that they would fit the mini calendar stickers perfectly and then came up with this fun idea...….

I used the 2016 Decorative Mini Calendar Stickers mounted on vanilla cardstock and then used the matching Wafer Thin Die to cut out each month.  I filled in the tray with papers from the Echo Park Times and Season 2 collection.

I used some mini clothes pins covered with various black and white washi tapes.  I glued these in and then clipped the calendars into them that way they are interchangeable each year.

 At the top, I used a 2016 Year of Memories Sticker on some vanilla cardstock and then put some brads into is and glued it to the top of the tray.  I will have to take it off and put on a new year next time, but It won't be too difficult.

To finish it off, I tied up some black and white ribbons at the top.  So, what do you think??  I can't wait to display this in my home (or even gift it) this year.

2016 Planner/Date Book by Shannon

Welcome back to Shannon Morgan.  She's an artist and a crafter and a lover of all things SRM.  And she's definitely a SRM All Star!

Hello!  Shannon joining you today with a date book creation.  Living in the moment, I am not one to look far ahead in the future. I am a procrastinator by nature and I have been known to stay up in the wee hours of the morning to pack for a trip or moving. 

Imagine my delight as I created a sweet little mini album and/or date book for 2016…

Here's the cover, you'll find a doily tucked beneath the layers, some twine, some sticker stitches and a brightly colored 2016 tab.

I used some BRAND, SPANKING NEW SRM Year of Memories Sticker/2016, plus Sticker Stitches (of course), doilies, twine and punched pieces.

Open the pages of this album and you'll see sticker stitches and the months here and there. The focus on this album is "little things"..you can use it for remembering birthdays, dates, or mini month milestones. Click on each image to enlarge to see all the little details.

March and April are cheery and simple:

May and June have a touch of twine and summery zest!

A 2016 Birthday Calendar Organizer by Tessa Wise

Hi!  It's Tessa Wise sharing a fun project with you today.   I created a birthday calendar that doubles as a card organizer.

The organizer is an A2 Clear Card Box.  It holds about 8 cards plus envelopes.  I decorated it with the large 2016 sticker from the Year of Memories/2016 sheet and added some cardstock and patterned papers around the middle of the box.  I also added a bit of Honeydew Baker's Twine around it for embellishment.

In the center of the box, I added a mini calendar sticker from the Mini Calendar Stickers/Decorative 2016 Sticker Sheet.  The year's worth of calendar stickers have been stuck down onto white cardstock and diecut using the new Wafer Thin Die made especially for them.  

I loved using this new decorative die for the Mini Calendar Deco design for this project!

I can circle the important dates each month so I don't forget to send my cards!  The extra month diecuts fit perfectly in one of the new Vintage Floral Bags:

Each month has a bit of velcro tape on the back of it.  I can easily change out each month as I go through the year.

When a new month comes around, I just change out the calendar and add my cards for that month!

I'm hoping this project will keep me organized and sending cards throughout the year!
