March and April 2013

I got very behind in this blog, guys, but want to catch up, because I hope you enjoy looking at these posts from time to time.  I am skipping February, because those photos were not on my current memory card.

K, you like to eat in the living room when you get a chance, but we haven't been wanting you to lately, because your brother likes to do whatever you do, but he is a little bit more messy than you are, so we have been encouraging you to eat in the dining room.   It looks like this is the only photo I used for March.

There must  have been a day in April where I had C for the day.  I don't remember why, but we had a good time.

We have still been going to Grandma Mary's and Grandpa Bob's on Saturdays.  Sometimes, we take turns and just have one of you go.

It was nice when it turned warm enough to play outside.  We love the huge tub of blocks that are in the shed.

Sometimes Big Brother wants to find some time by himself, and gets impatient with Little Brother's wanting to be with him so much, but there are times the guys have some sweet moments together.

We sure are hodge-podging here.  We're back at Grandma Mary's and Grandpa Bob's here.

Union Plaza is one of our favorite parks.  The guys call it the Downtown Park.

The next photos are from C's second birthday.

This was taken at the end of April.  I worry that one of the guys will get hurt doing this, but it is something they enjoy doing.

I'm remembering that I address you two at the end of each post.  I'm sorry I got behind in posting.  I hope to catch up and do better.  It sure is fun being your grandma!  You are both getting so big!  Grandma and Grandpa love you lots!

January, 2013

The first photos were actually taken the end of December, but since KJ's birthday is in January, I am putting those in this post.

We celebrated KJ's fifth birthday with Papaw Bob's at their house.   Their mom makes cakes they can eat, since they are allergic to so many things.  This was a Star Wars themed one.

Happy birthday, guys!

We also celebrated Christmas that day.

Now, we are into January.  Mom got a hair cut, and after losing lots of weight, won a contest at the place she worked out at.  Congratulations, Linda!

I thought this was cute.  CE acted afraid at first.

Then, he petted the chicken.

CE is still helping unload the dishwasher when I ask him to.  Oh, my, we sure had more dishes to put in there!

KJ still likes to pretend to have picnics.

He also makes cool things with the different building toys we have.

We always like it when the boys play together.  As CE gets older, I hope he figures out ways to approach his brother that will draw KJ to him instead of him frequently wanting to get away.

Guys, this didn't turn out, but I kind of like the swirls of color that are you two playing.

CE likes the refrigerator magnets.  He noticed I got some new ones, and enjoyed moving them around, finding different spots for them.

KJ looked comfortable playing whatever game it was on Grandpa's lap.

I always like it when CE will cuddle with me.

Yippee!  I am almost caught up!  Guys, it is so much fun being your grandma!  I have been cleaning the toy room today.  When you come over Saturday, it may not be finished, but you will be able to walk on the floor.

December, 2012

December is always a fun month, and when you have grandchildren, it's even more fun!  There is a tree to decorate.

There is also a refrigerator to decorate.

There are toys to play with.

There are things of Grandma's that are not toys, that she lets the guys play with.

There are fun art activities.

There is snow to play with, inside, when Grandpa and Big Brother are outside playing in it.

When Big Brother came in, he joined in the fun.

Fun on Grandpa's lap!  (I think there was something they were looking at on a computer.)

Then, Christmas Eve came, and we had fun opening presents and enjoying each others' company.

These with the striped shirt, are out of order.   This happens, even though I put the photos in order as I put them on.  I don't know why this happens.  I did some rearranging, but I don't remember where these go, and need to be getting off the computer soon.

OK, we're back to Christmas Eve.

More out of order:

The guys can be so sweet!

We haven't been playing with the train tracks as much, but I'm glad we still do some.

KJ sure is good at putting things together!

CE has gotten good at feeding himself.

Fun with Papaw Bob and Great Grandma Mary.

The next few are from Christmas Day, when we went to Aunt Amy's and Uncle John's.

This is the guys' dad, Trevor's cousin, Tyler.

Guys, you are both so much fun to be with, and Grandpa and I are happy you are our grandsons.  We love you very much, as do your great grandparents.
