KJ was very serious about painting the sidewalk with water.
Heidi wanted to be involved, but KJ didn't need or want her help. Whenever KJ is over, Heidi thinks she has to be right in his space, to the point she knocked him down a time or two when he was younger. He is able to fend for himself better now that he's older. Plus, he will pet her and play with her a little now. (As he painted, he moved the water down the sidewalk.)
After KJ painted the sidewalk and fence, he brought his supplies to the deck and did some painting there.
Later, we picked some radishes.
Look at the wonder on that face. I love it!
In the evening, when KJ and Mom were getting ready to go home, a neighbor friend brought some milk over, and even though KJ had his own cup, he wanted to drink one out of the carton. What a big boy, drinking out of a straw!
That was such a fun day, KJ! I need to take pictures of you playing in the new toy room, since that's what you've been enjoying lately. We need to keep working to get it clean and organized.
