The hard charging Beja are an altogether different beast to the shootier Pathans I'm more used to playing against.

A couple more Beja that I came across in the assembled and undercoated pile.
Skin tones make them dashed tricky to photograph.
I used contrast paints to crank out a very speedy unit of 16 Beja for games of TMWWBK.
Commanders for my Sudan Highlanders.
Purchased many moons ago and painted after I got excited by the Egyptians.
Lovely characterful models. A proper bugger to clean up though - I do wish the Perry's would get a mould maker to match their sculpting talents.
This means I now have two full units of Highlanders, one of Egyptians and half a unit of red-coated British. I also have a box of the Perry Plastic British which will give me another unit of Indian uniform for this theatre (the rest of the box will make NWF forces).
I had a yearning to add to my Sudan collection. I've painted plenty of tribesmen but the British force remains incomplete. As a change from the 4x regulars of my NWF TMWWBK British collection I thought I'd add some white clad Egyptians.
Now I've taken the pictures it looks like the bases need a bit of work.
I think I'll order the command set and six more to give me two full units of 12.
