Blood Bowl Orcs

The Green Streaks

I finally finished my Blood Bowl Orc team, The Green Streaks. These were meant to be done for Eucalyptus Bowl in April, but that got canned due to COVID-19. I really struggled with these due to the multiple stages. The shoulder armour trim, for example, is dark grey then white then dark grey then metallic. Repeat times a million...

The figures are resin, from RN Estudio.

Orc Blitzers are some of the best players in the game. Unfortunately, they've all been sculpted with the same face.

The Black Orc Blockers are on 30mm bases.

I like both these throwers, and can't decide which I prefer. Maybe the mad scientist goggles, by a whisker.

I don't mind the orcs with hair.

Blood Bowl Line Orcs

As a rule, I don't add blood to weapons- these are the exceptions, using Army Painter Glistening Blood Effect.

Blood Bowl Orc Star Players

I've filled out the team with some cheerleaders from Shadowforge, and some squigs.

Blood Bowl Orc Cheer Skwad. Hubba hubba!

I think squigs are a great GW invention. Three are from GW, and the helmeted one is from Goblin Guild. I plan to use these as game markers and tokens.

I'm very glad that these are finished now.

Blood Bowl- Underworld Denizens

I had a few unfinished players left over from my new Underworld team, the Surrender Monkeys, and whilst I'm on a Blood Bowl high I thought I'd get them completed. So, here are a few more mutated goblins, a star player (and his biggest fan), and the team coach who is sharing his subtle strategies.

Lighting is a bit off today, they've got a funny hue.

Blood Bowl Underworld

It's Eucalyptus Bowl this weekend, and I'm taking the Underworld. This team is an unholy alliance between goblins and Skaven, and they are both affected by mutating warpstone.
Blood Bowl Underworld- The Surrender Monkeys

My team is the Surrender Monkeys, and they are by Goblin Guild Miniatures. I struggled a bit with colours, but was really happy with the goblin skin. I would have liked the purple warpstone to have a bit more of a glow to it, but I ran out of time and energy.

There are two Skaven linerats- one is quite unaffected by mutations, the other is a bit vitally challenged!

I really like both the throwers. They're great poses, and the blind one sees more than you may think!

The two Skaven Blitzers are great sculpts as well. I like their eye guards.

The goblins are affected by a variety of mutations... I got a pot of Army Painter Warlock Purple just for the tentacle suckers!

The troll is half-rat, and has a big chunk of ingrown warpstone. It is made from some plastic resin and is really light.

I received a resin turn counter which I based and painted in team colours.
I have a few more figures to go, which I don't need for Eucalyptus Bowl so I'll put them on the back burner for now. You can see a few mutations and the team coach.
Next week I'll put up my tournament report. I'll see if I can get these little suckers working for me!
