Savannah

My BFF Tasha turned 30 last week, so we met in Savannah to celebrate. Her friend Robyn let us stay at her place and showed us around town. This picture was taken in downtown Savannah and I would like to point out two things. I'm wearing my new "Thai" outfit, bought especially for when I arrive in Thailand because it says Thailand to me. Also, I'm not pregnant. I just appear that way because of all the food we ate while there, which I will be discussing.

I left Maggie at home, but had to bring Avery because of the nursing situation, and Tash brought Mea, an adorable little girl she's fostering who is almost the exact same age as Aves. We tried to dress them alike everyday.

The main activity we did was eat. There are sooooo many good restaurants in Savannah, and I seriously gained 10 pounds while I was there. (Sorry, husband) My favorite place was the Melting Pot which is Fondue. The only thing that sucked was we told them it was Tasha's birthday hoping to score free dessert, and instead they gave her a birthday card signed by all the people that worked there. Seriously?

My second favorite was this Paula Dean restaurant that had this super yummy buffet with really Southern food. I probably consumed 5000 calories in one sitting.

Besides eat, we went to the beach a couple times with the babies.

Isn't this little boy the cutest? Robyn's little boy Cohen made me actually want a boy next. However if Maggie keeps this up, I will not be having any more children. She's spent half the time I've been writing this post in time-out for throwing things at the computer. She thinks the computer is where daddy lives (he's already in Thailand working) and she gets very irritated when she talks to daddy (computer) and his face doesn't pop up...

August

I am now doing once-a-month blogging recaps, so sorry to those of you who frantically check our blog only to see I haven't updated...August was bananas. We went through our house and did MAJOR gutting with lots of stuff getting thrown away, sold on Craigslist, and stuffed into a storage unit. Then the movers came and shipped what was left to Thailand, and we moved across the street into my parents' house. Then Jonny moved to Thailand last week, and I'll be moving in a little while after our stuff gets out there. It takes a really long time. And hopefully a big wave doesn't ruin our stuff on a ship somewhere because I was too lazy and cheap to fill out the insurance info. We've rented our house and the family moved in a couple weeks ago. And yes, I do spy on them through the parents' windows about 50 times a day. Meanwhile, Jonny has taken on the role of home decorator and has promised to have the house completely ready when I get there. Which makes me very happy because I hate that kind of crap. Though I know that 98% of you in the blogging world eat that stuff up. I would like to have a nice looking house that doesn't resemble a college dorm. I just hate the process of doing it. As my friend Tasha puts it, I'm just lazy. Thank you, Tasha. :) Ok, so here's what we've been up to besides moving:

My parents gave me four sweet tickets to the Mormon Night at the Braves for my anniversary. Since Jonny was out of town on game day, I took Tina, Brindi, and Rachel. And Avery. The seats were awesome and the Braves won.

Maggie turned two this month. We had a Spongebob Squarepants themed party at our neighborhood pool.
Here are a few of her friends. There were more, but my computer is seriously being so difficult right now, this will be the only friend picture. If your cute baby was at the party and not pictured here, I'm sorry. It's taking an average of 10 minutes to load each picture and this is not an exaggeration because I am playing about 10 games of Bejewelled Blitz during the downtime.

Publix provided another excellent cake this year. One day I'll make her cake. One day.

The parentals:

This is the only picture I found at the party that has Avery in it. Sorry sweetheart. But check out these three hot studs.
I miss our back yard.

My sweet little Avery turned 3 months old this month. She really is the perfect baby. Except that for some reason whenever I leave her alone with Jonny she immediately has a meltdown...but anyways, she is so mellow and always looks just happy to be here. She's been rolling over for about a month now and still sleeps 8-10 hours straight at night. I thought Maggie was a good baby, but now I know what one is really like. I'm sure number three will be a devil-child to even things out. Maggie has laid off a little on trying to kill Aves, and now she's always trying to "help" with her, which can actually be more dangerous.
