The Beach!

We went on our first Thailand beach trip last weekend. And it was awesome. We went to Raeyong beach, or something like that, and it only took about two and a half hours to drive there, so we're planning on making this a monthly trip. The weather was perfect and Maggie absolutely loved the ocean and sand. Avery on the other hand...I think this trip marked a turning point in the dynamics of our family. Avery was the harder one out of the two. She didn't like the sand, she didn't like the drive, and she didn't like it any time mom put her down for two freaking seconds. Well I guess she's finally gotten comfortable with life and is letting her true colors show. Good. We like divas in this family.
The whole time she was in the ocean, Maggie kept asking, "Where's Nemo?" over and over.

Maggie also kept telling us she was building sandcastles "like Olivia." If you understand this reference, you (like us) are reading WAY too many kid books.

Avery not crying! Ok, she really is the cutest baby ever.

Here's my new friend out here, Chrissy and her cute little boy. Their family came with us. The best thing about our new best friends are that they love to play "Ticket to Ride" as much as us. We probably played five rounds over the weekend. Nerd alert.

Without the pugs, Aves had to take over floor clean up duty.
