I did my layout this morning for the Scrapping with Liz Make It Slowly challenge at The Lilypad. I keep forgetting to log in at the time of the challenge but thankfully we have at least 24 hours to finish it so with the time difference I can still get it made.
Today I tried something "new" ... I scrapped this layout completely in Affinity Photo for Windows... a program similar to Photoshop but WAY cheaper and slightly less complicated. Using a ready-made psd template I just had to clip my papers and photos to the right layers, alter the text boxes and add in a few embellishments. Super simple. I might just try a few more this way too.

It's time for the Special Edition release at The Digital Press. With it being Independence Day in the USA this weekend, this is the perfect kit from Cornelia for that. As I don't live in the US I went off theme for my layout and chose to do a page about Aaron's first step towards independence.
