Digital Scrapbook - Winter Layout Madness

Digital Scrapbook (previously PixelScrapper) ran  it's Winter Layout Madness again for the month of February. 

There are challenges that are site specific and then there is the open category where anything goes. You set yourself a goal of how many layouts you will create and then see if you can meet that (or exceed it!). Well I set myself a very conservative goal of 15 for this month but exceeded that by quite a few. Here's how I did:

The Digital Press - Feb22 challenges

It's the month of love at The Digital Press.... all their challenges this month had some aspect of love in the theme.... a fun twist to them.

I've managed to do all the challenges this month... and most of them quite early too... though there was still last minute rush like last month to get the final one done!

The Sweet Shoppe - Sweet 16 Birthday

One of my favourite designers from The Lilypad,  Pink Reptile Designs,  moved to The Sweet Shoppe in the middle of January. Well I decided to check it out and see what's going on.... and I found out that they are celebrating their 16th birthday this month. I think some of the first freebies I downloaded years and years ago were from the Sweet Shoppe. So needless to say I decided to dive in and try my hand at some of their games and challenges this month too.

So combining the 16th birthday challenges with the monthly This or That challenges was a win for me. The This or That challenges give two options to choose between for each of the 15 challenges. I didn't get nearly as many done as what I would have liked, but the few I did do are pretty.

I am sure that I will try these challenges out again in the months to come as they are fairly easy and there is no stress with lots of rules to follow.

 As part of the MPM release today at The Lilypad, Designed by Soco has a pocket template addon kit called Pocket Stories Vol 4.

I used Soco's Forest Tales kit and pocket cards to create my layout.

This unfortunately is my last layout as a guest for Soco.... it's been a wonderful three months of creating layouts for her. Hopefully I will be back later in the year for another session.
