"The perfect platform to structure your ideas and build on your goals"
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is its endless possibilities. Whether its designing your own phrame from stratch or picking from one of the endless templates that are offered, for any business technique there is always a template to choose from, which you can then customize. It really helps when you know what you are supposed to be doing e.g writing a user flow, but you don't know how to get started. That's when the endless template examples come in handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

There are not many things I dislike about Miro. Sometimes, having too many choices of templates can be overwhelming, and often there is more than 1 template for each technique. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Collaboration Tool with a Slight Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Miro?

It's such a great way to collaborate with other users and have a digital medium to refer back to for workshops etc. I use it all the time personally as well when I need to map something out visually. It's particularly great for research note-taking and has features that make synthesis easier. There's also a lot of flexibility with how the tool can be used and the applications. I like that there are templates that I can use too to help speed up how I'm working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

There can be a bit of a learning curve for some users (particularly those who are less tech-savvy). Some functionalities are also a little bit clunky - like finding and replacing text. Sometimes when boards have too much on them, they take ages to load or will crash. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Creative Teaching, Though Some Students Need Time to Adjust"
What do you like best about Miro?

The best thing about using Miro is the seamless infinite looking whiteboard that gives me the freedom to create interactive lessons as a tutor. It's really easy to create vocabulary cards, grammar charts and use drag and drop features for mind maps. The students instantly love the visual and collaborative learning approach. I can also copy and paste images in the whiteboard instantly which is a great value add. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Some students take a bit longer to navigate and find controls and tools needed to help them complete activities on the whiteboard. But it's just an initial learning curve and once they get used to it, it runs pretty smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro keeps my team’s ideas moving even when we’re not in the same room"
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro gets a lot of use from me as my home base for collating project ideas, brainstorming and facilitating remote workshops. And we use the same board to sketch out flows, drop sticky notes and vote on priorities during calls and it’s the closest I’ve found to a real whiteboard online. I also use it by myself when planning content and mapping workflows since everything remains visual and is rearranged as easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

When the board is loaded with assets, it can be sluggish at times particularly in larger team sessions. I also find the permissions to be a little confusing as I’ve accidentally blocked people from editing more than once. I love the templates but customizing them to match my specific workflow can sometimes take longer than I would prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great as always, but needs to get on MCPs and resolve basic issues like image upload"
What do you like best about Miro?

- visually appealing and super quick and easy to come up with and work through ideas.

- the pasting is excellent, eg from table into stickies or table. Sometimes use miro just to help cajole csv into lines and vice versa Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

- Not everyone at my company uses it. Guest access always is confusing and unclear on whether it's allowed or not

- Not being able to upload large images of web pages. The miro screenshot chrome extension thing stopped working also

- I have used miro.new frequently. When I now search miro in my chrome bar it usually goes here, then I press back and go to the dashboard. However this means I have loads of completely empty miros. If the miro has no changes maybe don't save it (eg if it's completely blank). This is also annoying when I am using my personal free plan (rather than work) and it closes down old boards due to miro.new

- Miro MCP, requested access but still waiting. Can use MCPs for all my other providers and miro has a lot of helpful context Claude would benefit from

- When using the text component in miro rather than a shape, the padding isn't enough around the text if it's got a coloured background. Ideally for me I would be able to use bullet points in a shape (especially rectangle) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Project Powerhouse: collaboration made simple."
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is that it’s an amazing tool for project management. It integrates seamlessly with Jira, which makes it super practical for planning and organizing Sprints. It’s also incredibly easy to collaborate with teammates, and everything stays perfectly synchronized in real time.

It also has a huge number of features — you feel like you’re using multiple project management tools, but everything is in the same application and fully integrated with the whole team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

What I dislike about Miro is that the default font size when you start typing can be a bit annoying, although it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic for Collaborative Workshops"
What do you like best about Miro?

The ability to build complex and creative online worksheets and exercises that people can work on collaboratively online at the same time. It is like having a google document and an A2 sheet of paper with a full set of coloured pens at an in-person workshop. There are many features and functions which can be utilised to improve your Miro Boards. I have found them perfect for running online workshops with international researchers and experts. All of the exercises, as well as their progress and notes, are all in the same place. There are many templates you have access to which can help design your board and can come with pre-built functions. I have generally found it easy to use from a design perspective and for my participants. I am running a similar project to last year again so I am able to take my boards from last year and tweak/improve them easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Designing boards and exercises from scratch can be tricky and clunky. I took a lot of time to build a complex futures wheel which took a few attempts as there were no templates of the design I required. Also, sometimes the participants can struggle to find where they are meant to be on the board, however, I feel that is at least partially down to them not paying attention. "Intuitive and Fun for Workshops, But Needs Better Bullet-to-Post-it Conversion"
What do you like best about Miro?

As a consultant, I like to use Miro for my own discovery, thinking, and designing. I also use Miro to facilitate workshops for teams, middle management, and leadership. I like how easy Miro is to use. Even people who are starting to use Miro for the first time get used to the whole idea in a few minutes. Miro is usually visually appealing, especially compared to competitors like Mural. It's also fun to use. I like the extra features like timers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I use Miro next to my Chat AI assistant, so I need to copy and paste many bullet points into my Miro workshop. There is no feature for me to add a bullet list and convert them into post-its automatically. The existing bulk mode asks me to enter each Post-it row by row, whereas in most cases, I have a bullet list I want displayed in Miro as a set of Post-its. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent for Collaboration, But Complex Boards Can Be Overwhelming"
What do you like best about Miro?

- Easy fist approach: It’s easy to get started with Miro and create simple, useful boards that help with daily tasks and meetings.

- Great for collaboration: Miro works great in both live collaboration and asynchronous work. Lots of features shine in live collaboration (seeing everyone's cursors, "bring everyone to me", timer, voting, etc.). The comment feature is especially helpful for asynchronous feedback and pre-meeting preparations.

- Wide range of features: Miro offers a wide range of features and possibilities. I particularly appreciate the integrations with tools like Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Notion, which make it fit well into existing workflows.

- Helpful templates: The template library makes it easy to find starting points for various use cases, speeding up the setup process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

- Complexity for advanced use: While Miro is easy to use for simple tasks, it can become overwhelming when trying to build more complex boards. I’ve often spent a lot of time searching for the right template without success, and then even more time designing something from scratch.

- Performance on large boards: Very large boards can take a while to load and may feel laggy when navigating. That said, performance has improved since I first started using Miro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified Canvas and Seamless Collaboration with Miro AI"
What do you like best about Miro?

This platform offers a unified canvas that enables you to perform a variety of tasks for different user groups. What I appreciate most is that it goes beyond just creating wireframes or mapping out a single software flow—you can connect multiple personas and develop a comprehensive, holistic view. With Miro AI and its straightforward, uncluttered interface, you can easily summarize information, build user stories, and collaborate with team members by assigning tasks seamlessly. The ability to integrate with numerous other tools also ensures that users accustomed to different platforms can work together without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Miro has made a strong effort to provide an easy-to-use, interactive platform. However, there are still some areas that need improvement. For instance, the support platform could be more user-friendly. It would be helpful if Miro introduced a chatbot or a smart, AI-driven support system to address user queries more efficiently. Accessing support should be simpler overall. Additionally, the process of searching for boards or team members remains complicated and could benefit from further refinement.
