What do you like best about Customer.io?

Customer.io stands out as a robust customer communication platform, particularly excelling in its ability to deliver highly targeted in-app web pop-ups. This feature allows for precise segmentation and personalized messaging directly within the application, significantly enhancing user engagement. Another major advantage is the remarkable ease of installation and integration with many other platforms, like Sheets, Big Query, Segment, GTM.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Unlike many competitors that charge based on Monthly Active Users (MAU), Customer.io's pricing is determined by the total number of "objects" in your database, which includes both users and companies. This structure can lead to disproportionately high costs, especially for businesses with freemium and Trial plans, when most of these users don't use your product for more than one week.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

Their pricing feels unfair. It's a sticky product, and they know it. Our pricing got jacked up 2-3x our last renewal and it would double again if we wanted to use organizations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy Customer.io is to use and set up, making it my go-to choice for automation and efficient message iteration. The workflow campaigns and designer are incredibly useful, and the ability to see detailed people profiles enhances the onboarding experience significantly. What do you dislike about Customer.io?

I sometimes face challenges with the integration between RudderStack and Customer.io, specifically with user IDs not matching properly. This occasionally results in thousands of incorrect user profiles being created, requiring adjustments. Additionally, I find the email editor in Customer.io could be more flexible, as there are limited components available, leading me to resort to using HTML templates. Can't say I have used the new features, although they haven't gone unnoticed. For my specific case, the customer.io serves me as good as last time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

The quick setup and ease of use remain major strengths. In our case, the integration was with Flutter, but we migrated to React Native and the documentation is very clear. The Customer.io support team is excellent: they responded quickly and accurately when we had an issue with notifications on iOS.

Recently, we started using In-App Messages and the experience has been fantastic. They are easy to implement, very versatile, and offer many possibilities to interact with our users. We also greatly appreciate that each SDK update comes with clear documentation, which makes it easy to stay up to date and adopt new features without complications.
