What do you like best about Stampli?

The Billy Bot AI automation is a standout feature—it’s fast, intuitive, and saves significant time during invoice entry. The ability to copy text directly from PDFs is extremely useful for accuracy and efficiency. Stampli’s support team is generally responsive and helpful, and while not perfect, they do make an effort to resolve issues effectively. Additionally, the integration with NetSuite works smoothly and provides a reliable connection between platforms, helping maintain data consistency and reducing manual work. What do you dislike about Stampli?

The system has several limitations and workflow challenges impacting efficiency. Currently, text can only be copied from page 1 of PDFs, and the Billy Bot tool often produces incorrect or inconsistent data. New merchants automatically recommend an unwanted GL account with no option to override. Recurring invoices cannot have auto-assigned approvers, and their details (such as title or start/end dates) cannot be edited without duplicating the record. Once stopped, a recurring invoice cannot simply be restarted. There is no “Pending Approval” tab, requiring manual report checks, and invoice editing after authorization involves multiple unnecessary steps before it can be reapproved. Users cannot copy an invoice or reuse the same PDF to create multiple invoices, and key fields like invoice number, date, or GL details cannot be mass-edited. If a Stampli card transaction lacks a receipt, it doesn’t appear for AP processing, and filtering AP Workview by Stampli card transactions does not function properly. Invoice PDFs also cannot be saved into the receipts library for future card charges. Additionally, card and limit management through Stampli/WEX is cumbersome—temporary limit adjustments cannot auto-reset, prior-period pending transactions affect available limits, flexible card limits cannot be edited once issued, and one-time card limits may decline legitimate transactions that include separate processing fees. Finally, Stampli card or WEX-related issues can take several days to resolve due to third-party involvement, further slowing operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stampli?

As a company newly implementing Stampli, we’ve been very pleased with our experience so far. The onboarding process was smooth, and the platform has proven to be intuitive and user-friendly for our accounting team and the practices we support.

One of the standout features has been the centralized communication within the invoice workflow. It’s made collaboration between departments and vendors much more efficient, reducing back-and-forth emails and speeding up approvals. The AI-driven coding suggestions have also been a helpful time-saver.

We’ve received great feedback from our practices, who appreciate the transparency and ease of use. It’s clear that Stampli was designed with real-world accounting challenges in mind, and it’s already helping us streamline our AP processes.

What do you dislike about Stampli?

As a company with many practices, we want to ensure that the security between practices stays in tact. What do you like best about Stampli?

The Stampli user interface, configurability, and available options and integrations make it a really great AP product. The workflows are intuitive, and the features we needed are readily available without significant customization. The payments module is slick and convenient. The number of available features and customizations is adequate without being too overwhelming. Customer support is decent, although it can take longer than we'd like to respond or at least to provide an actual answer to the question at issue. The trainer we had (Samantha) was very friendly and nice, and we think she did a good job picking the best options for how to set us up on their platform - we are multi-entity and cross multiple industries, too. The QuickBooks Desktop integration works well, but it does freeze up fairly often and needs to be manually restarted. This is not difficult to do, just something to note. My favorite feature is the way hyperlinks back to the original paperwork and the audit trail are added to the memo in QuickBooks Desktop, making it possible to quickly and efficiently find the original paperwork and all the notes about it. What do you dislike about Stampli?

The WEX credit card that they partner with is really bad. We have found WEX to flag WAY too many transactions as fraud, even after being explicitly told that they are authorized charges. We are also not a fan of WEX's 2-week statement period which cannot be customized or changed. Finally, I do not like that WEX issues separate statements and makes separate payments for virtual cards and physical cards - a seemingly needless distinction that makes statement reconciliation more challenging than it should be. We are still using this card program because it is the only card program that is integrated with the Stampli platform. But we would gladly switch if another corporate card program was added.

Also, the mobile app for submitting expense receipts is flaky, especially in poor phone service areas. It often hangs up on receipt upload and it is hard to get it do anything else when it does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stampli?

I've used a lot of different accounting software over the years, and honestly, I didn’t expect to be this impressed after just a day and a half with Stampli. But here I am.

Right away, I noticed how user-friendly it is. The layout makes sense, it's easy to navigate, and I didn't feel overwhelmed trying to figure things out. One of the things I appreciate the most is how forgiving the system is. Mistakes are going to happen — they always do — and having a platform that lets you fix them without a ton of hassle is a huge plus. It feels like Stampli was built with real people in mind. What do you dislike about Stampli?

If there’s one thing I’d love to see improved, it’s the ability to customize the dashboard a bit more. It would be helpful to arrange things in a way that fits my personal workflow. I also think having the option to change screen colors or themes could make a difference for people who have visual sensitivities. Even something like a dark mode would be a nice touch. What do you like best about Stampli?

Stampli has made our accounts payable process so much easier and more efficient. The platform is incredibly intuitive — invoices flow smoothly, approvals are streamlined, and it has saved our team a lot of time compared to our old manual processes. The AI-driven features and collaboration tools cut down on back-and-forth emails and help keep everything organized in one place.

What I particularly appreciate is how quickly new users can get up to speed. The system is easy to navigate, and it integrates well with our existing accounting software, making the transition seamless. The one drawback I’ve experienced is with the mobile app. While it’s useful for quick approvals, its functionality is more limited compared to the desktop platform. What do you like best about Stampli?

It is very user-friendly and at each and every step we have customer support if anything is missing, It enables us to process multicurrency invoices in a straightforward manner and it also has various types of access for users of different levels. It also identifies duplicate invoices by showing a pop-up that alerts us before saving it. I would like to add, if it is possible if we have the option to directly sync the bill to accounting software once processed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stampli?

So we don't have the option to go and edit the invoice once it is assigned to the approvers so the only option is to ask them to reject the invoice to make any changes. and we also have to wait until all the approvers have approved the bill for it to sync to the accounting software and once the invoice syncs then we dont have the option to edit the invoice in the accounting software. What do you like best about Stampli?

What I really like about Stampli is how user-friendly it is. Vendors can search their own open invoices, update their information independently, and even attach files on their behalf — which saves a lot of back-and-forth and makes the process much smoother.

Overall, it’s a strong platform with excellent vendor-facing functionality, and with a few more enhancements, it could be even more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stampli?

On the downside, there are a few limitations that make things harder for us. For example, we can’t export the approval workflow into an Excel spreadsheet, which would be very useful for tracking and reporting. Another challenge is that I don’t have visibility into which GL codes haven’t been assigned to an approver, which can create bottlenecks.

Looking ahead, one feature I’d love to see is for Billy the Bot to be able to read the total amount of an invoice if it happens to land on the second page. That would really improve accuracy and cut down on manual corrections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stampli: the best A/P software I've ever used"
What do you like best about Stampli?

My finance team knows how much I love Stampli because I sing its praises so often. I'm an A/P team of one in a fast growing startup. We outgrew our old system and needed to look for something affordable and scalable, whose implementation would interrupt our day-to-day operations as little as possible. That's when we found Stampli. It's incredibly easy to use, allows me to keep up with A/P on my own thanks to my buddy Billy the Bot. Implementation was quick and quite easy, and while we don't run into problems often, customer support is always quick to respond, explains what's happening, and the steps to resolve it. I now use Stampli multiple times per day, and it singlehandedly allows me to keep up with our volume of invoices as a one-woman team without feeling overwhelmed. What do you dislike about Stampli?

I'd love to see payment information directly on the invoice page or, at the very least, have a link from the invoice page to the payment page similar to how bill.com does it. This would make things so much smoother when checking on the status of invoices and providing remittance information for vendors. What do you like best about Stampli?

As CFO I now feel like I have significantly greater visibility over the state of payables and can much better monitor the work of my AP team. I can plan cash flow better with the payment functionality by scheduling payments in the future.

In addition, a big time saver has been routing of approvals to the right individuals and not relying on email changes - approvals and any necessary questions are answered in the platform providing a clear documentation of approvals. Non-accounting team members find this easy to use and intuitive.

I use Stampli on a daily basis to keep invoices moving through the system, but it only takes me a few minutes each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stampli?

Our software integration is with Microsoft Business Central Mostly it works great, but there are some elements or purchase orders that don't work as we would like and require additional processing in BC in order to work properly. Another aspect is the time it takes for ACH payments to be processed - generally 5 days for what used to be a 1 to day process when doing natively through my own bank. This ties up working capital. What do you like best about Stampli?

I love that everything is on one page. I can see everything on one screen and i love the link that shows you past invoices. Very easy to navigate and there are great features if i could get mine to work. The link from the financial system to stampli is amazing. The newest updates have been nice features. Also any issues i have had the support team on the chats is very quick to respond and address any concerns or help navigate through the site.
