I really like how easy Zapier is to use and how simple it is to show others how to build with it. I mostly use it for automations, but I’m planning to explore the AI Agents and Tables features when I get some time. What I love most is how many apps it connects to. Even the rare ones usually have triggers, which is super cool. Some people say Zapier is expensive, but I think if you use their built-in tools the right way, it’s actually pretty good value and really easy to set up. Sometimes they change or remove features, and this can be annoying, especially if you have just built something and then have to rebuild it.I also have had some issue with JSON outputs many times and many types of error that do not really make sense in the error logs. I love zapier’s ability to connect all my tools, like Trello and Google Sheets with zero coding is a game changer. The drag and drop interface is so intuitive that I can set up complex automations, like pulling new leads from a Typeform into my CRM and sending personalized follow up emails, in under 10 minutes. The thing I like most about Zapier is the speed at which I can build. It’s the fastest platform I’ve found for quickly creating and testing ideas. There’s a lot of configurability possible, but sometimes I just need to take an hour, build something quick and dirty, to see if it works. Zapier makes that incredibly easy with little nuances like being able to test each step independently from within the step, reuse past runs as sample data, or enter your own.

When I joined Klue, I initially planned to replace Zapier, now it’s become my staple building platform. It’s also incredibly inexpensive for what it is. We’re always evaluating our tech stack with each renewal, and the closest competitor still costs 3–4x more, which means we can basically ignore cost as a factor when we build. For example, we run a 10 step workflow on every completed call to scan for different bits of information and log it appropriately which would be cost-prohibitive with any other platform. When I started automating my workflow, I set it up so that every new contact in our form would be added to Google Sheets, trigger a Slack notification, and create a contact in Mailchimp. It only took me a few minutes and I honestly felt like a huge weight was getting off our shoulders. The key for everything to work smoothly is that we don’t have to touch the code. There are still some integration things that aren't always available. I have had a few times I couldn't set up an automation with the limitation of actions for a particular platform outside of Zapier. I love that it connects 2 MS apps to easily! The Power Automate with MS is not as user friendly and Zapier has helped me connect multiple MS Excel files to send messages to MS Teams with just a few clicks! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the zaps that I have created between MS Excel & MS Teams seem to stop working whenever I manually update the Excel file which then causes me to have to re-create the same Zap.
