Long Way Round

It's been 10 years since Long Way Round kicked off and like it or loath it, it changed the face of the motorcycle market. 

And every time I see a shiny, be-farkled GS with aluminium boxes that'll never leave the tarmac, my heart goes out to the KTM guy who made the decision not to give them KTM Adventures...

Terribly British

I think this is very probably the first time a car has featured on this blog. But it's a fantastic shot and I think it resonates nicely with the MERCENARY way.

It was taken during the 2008 Mongol Rally and now proudly adorns the header of their website www.theadventurists.com.
