CH1 and turn your work 90 degrees to SC along the top

until you reach the 3rd DC at the top of your cup.

many as it takes to reach desired strap length.

per chain.

After placing your final SC in your strap chain, SC into

the same 3rd DC. SC along the other side of your bralette
cup.
SC until you reach the space where the two bralette
cups connect. SC2TOG the two bottom stitches.

SC along the side of your second bralette cup.

Repeat steps from the previous cup to create your

second strap. SC along the other side of this bralette
cup.
SC on the top edge of the waistband.

One you reach your waistband loops, 4SC into each CH4
space. SC into SC between loops.

SC along the bottom edge, two SC in each DC row and

one SC in each SC.

Repeat waistband loops on the second side. Slip stitch

to connect to the first SC of your border. Fasten off.
Finishing touches

Now we will add the ties between your cups. You can
customize this however you see fit, making your chain
longer or shorter depending on how many times you
want it to criss-cross.

Slip stitch to connect where you’d like your center ties

to begin. I usually connect about 2/3 of the way up the
side of my right cup.

Chain 12-24 inches, depending on how many times you

want it to criss-cross. If you aren’t sure, chain 24 inches
so you have plenty to work with. You can always cut off
if it’s too long.
Fasten off but leave your loop open so you can slip
stitch after weaving.

Weave your chain through the SC in your border row as

you’d like. I weave through 3-4 times on each side and
leave an inch or two at the bottom of the cups.

Slip stitch into the stitch parallel to your initial slip

stitch. Fasten off.
Chain your waistband tie as long as you need – I usually
do 24-36 inches.

Weave in all ends.

YOU DID IT! Congrats on finishing your top! Wear it

proudly, and if you share photos please tag me. I’d love
to see your finished work!
