Materials Needed: Abbreviations:
Worsted weight yarn ch(s) – chain(s)
- Yellow sc – single crochet
- Black inv dec – invisible decrease (decrease in
front loops only)
- Red
sl st – slip stitch
Black embroidery thread

Polyester fibrefill

2 12mm Plastic safety eyes

You can join the rounds by 2 methods,
(1) slip stitch to join and chain one, (2)
continuous round. Both methods can be
used but I used method (1).

Head (Yellow Yarn)
Working from the top to bottom
R1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)
R2: 2 sc in each st around. (12 sts)
R3: *Sc 1, 2 sc in next st,* 6 times. (18 sts)
R4: *Sc 2, 2 sc in next st,* 6 times. (24 sts)
R5: *Sc 3, 2 sc in next st,* 6 times. (30 sts)

R6: *Sc 4, 2 sc in next st,* 6 times. (36 sts)


R7-13: Sc 36.
R14: *Sc 4, inv dec 1,* 6 times. (30 sts)
R15: *Sc 3, inv dec 1,* 6 times. (24 sts)
Begin adding fiberfill and continue as you go.

R16: *Sc 2, inv dec 1,* 6 times. (18 sts)


R17: *Sc 1, inv dec 1,* 6 times. (12 sts)
R18: Inv dec around 5 times. (6 sts)
Fasten off and leave a tail to close piece.
Body & Legs (Yellow Yarn) – Make 2 legs
R1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)
R2: Sc 6.
For the first foot, fasten off and leave a short tail. For the second foot, do not cut off yarn.
In the following round, we will connect both feet by crocheting, no sewing. Continue with the
second foot. Sc 6 around this foot. Continue the round by inserting the hook into the first stitch
of the first foot (the one that has been cut off with short tail) with working yarn at the back of
the feet. Sc 6 around for this foot too. At the end of these 12 stitches (6 sts for each foot), slip
stitch back to the other foot to complete the join.
R3: Sc 6, join foot, sc 6, sl to join, ch1. (12 sts)
The following rounds will form the body
R4-6: Sc 12.

R7: Sc 2, inv dec, sc 4, inv dec, sc 2. (10 sts)


Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew body to head.
Arms (Yellow Yarn)
We will crochet the arms directly on the body.
Insert hook into 1 side of the body. Attach yarn and chain 5. Slip stitch back along the chain (4
sts) and connect back to the body with a slip stitch. Cut off and leave a short tail. Knot both
ends inside the body to secure the arm. Repeat on the other side for the second arm.
Ears (Black & Yellow Yarn) – Make 2
Starting with black yarn
R1: 4 sc in magic ring. (4 sts)
R2: Sc 3, 2 sc. (5 sts)

R3: Sc 4, 2 sc. (6 sts)


R4: *Sc 2, 2 sc* 2 times. (8 sts)
R5: *Sc 3, 2 sc* 2 times. (10 sts)

Change to yellow yarn


R6-8: Sc 10.
R9: *Sc 3, inv dec* 2 times. (8 sts)
R10: Sc 8.
Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew.
Tail (Black & Yellow Yarn)
Starting with yellow yarn. Leave some yarn at the beginning for sewing later on.

R1: Chain 7, hdc 6 beginning from second chain from hook, ch 1 and turn. (6 sts)
R2: Hdc 6, ch 1 and turn. (6 sts)
R3: Sl 3, ch 1, sc 3, ch 1 and turn. (3 sts)
R4: Sc 3, ch 1 and turn. (3 sts)
R5: Sc 3, ch3 and turn.
R6: Sc 5 beginning from the second chain from hook, ch 1 and turn. (5 sts)
R7: Sc 5, ch 1 and turn. (5 sts)
R8: Sc 2, ch1 and turn.

Change to black yarn


R9: Sc 2, ch1 and turn.
R10: Sc 2.
Fasten off and leave a short tail to sew.
Cheek (White Yarn) – Make 2

R1: 6 sc in magic ring. (6 sts)


Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew.

Lightly stuff the body and sew the head onto the body.
With black embroidery thread, embroider on the mouth. Position eyes and cheeks beside the
mouth. Glue or sew on eyes and cheeks.
With the tail’s yellow beginning yarn, sew on only the top part of the tail on the back of the
head. With the tail’s black ending yarn, sew on only the bottom part of the tail in between the
legs at the back.
