Alternative option to work the purl ridge without a jog!

To avoid jogs, turn work to wrong side when working the purl ridge as follows:
Short row 1 (right side): knit 1, turn work, (wrong side): double stitch, slip marker.
Round 1 (work at the wrong side): knit to 1 stitch before end of round, work double stitch as 1 stitch, slip
marker.
Round 2 (work at wrong side): knit to end of round, slip marker.
Short row 2 (wrong side): knit 1, turn work (right side): double stitch, slip marker.
Note! Work double stitch as one stitch in the next round.

Pattern notes
The work starts with a few rounds of purl stitches at the neck and afterward short
rows for a lowered Front neckline. The yoke is worked with different stitch/rib
patterns and rounds of increases create a rounded yoke. After finishing the yoke,
the sleeves are separated on waste yarn, and the body is worked from the armholes
to hem. Choose between 2 options for the body: A. work stockinette stitch, or B.
continue to work different stitch/rib patterns. A 1x1 rib hem finishes the body before
stitches are bound off. Work the sleeves one at a time by putting the stitches back
from waste yarn to the working needles and work in rounds for desired length of
sleeves. The sleeves have an 1x1 rib before stitches are bound off.
Before you start to work the instructions, check the measurements on page 2. If you
want a longer body in textured pattern, you have two options:
1. Either repeat the stitch/rib patterns to desired length (minus length for Hem). It is
important to end with a finished set of texture before Hem.
2. Or add an extra texture set in Seed Stitch Pattern (+ purl ridge) after the two sets
with stockinette stitch. These sets add 6 cm/2.5" to the body length.
