Invitation to Seedling Fest – ( Interschool )

Dear Principal,
Greetings of the day.
We are excited to invite your esteemed institution to be a part of “ Seedling Fest”,
our much-awaited Inter-School Fest, scheduled on Thursday 28 th August ‘ 25 at 9:00
am at our school campus.
This vibrant event brings together young talents from across schools to compete,
collaborate, and celebrate excellence in Visual Arts, Science & Technology &
Performing Art. With a wide range of engaging competitions and showcases,
Seedling Fest promises to be a platform where creativity meets curiosity, and
learning comes alive.
The aim of the fest is to develop a sense of healthy competition, cooperation,
leadership, diligence, punctuality and team spirit, which will treat the eyes of the
onlookers.
We would be honored to have your school's participation in this celebration of
youthful brilliance. Kindly confirm your participation by filling the attached
registration form link latest by Thursday 7th August’ 25. Enclosed herewith are the

ACTIVITY 1
COSTUME CARNIVAL
“Creativity flows, in every stride,
Magic of fancy dress, gliding with pride.”
Fancy dress aims to foster imagination, cultural appreciation, and public speaking
skills in young learners through fun-filled, thematic character portrayals.
Encourage your budding talents to think beyond costumes, express themselves and
have fun while doing it.
Theme: Cartoon Characters OR Halloween Characters
Class Level : II & III
Date & Day : 28th August, Thursday
No. of participants : 2 per school (with different themes)
Costume : As per the theme chosen
Time for the event : 2 – 3 minutes

NOTE :
1). Costumes shall be based on the theme of the presentation.
2). Simple hand held props are allowed.
3). No Paper reading is allowed.
4). Character Introduction- Medium English
5).The decision of the judges will be final& binding

Judgement Criteria:
1) Expression & Gestures (Introduction) 10
2) Costume & Props 10
3) Overall Presentation 10

ACTIVITY 2
“SCIQUEST ” is a dynamic and intellectually
stimulating competition, a platform designed to spark curiosity, celebrate scientific
knowledge and encourage a healthy competition among budding young scientists.
Class Level : V & VI
No. of participants : 2 per Team
Dress Code : School Uniform

NOTE :
There will be a time bound written preliminary round for the selection of

FOUR TEAMS which will compete for the final
SCIQUEST.
NATURE OF ACTIVITY:
 SCIQUEST will include rounds like: MCQ, Visual round, word grid, Give
reason etc

ACTIVITY 3
VISUAL VOICE
“Visualise The Change You Want To See.”
Poster making for a cause can inspire, educate, and empower individuals by serving as
a tool for social change.
This competition will foster diverse perspective and develop team collaboration by
raising awareness on pressing social issues through visual creativity

Class Level : VII & VIII


No. of participants : 2 participants (Both the participants will make separate
Posters on the same theme chosen by chit system)
Dress Code : School Uniform
Time for the event : 2 hours
NOTE :
 Team will pick a Social Issue Topic – through chit system.
 For 10 minutesthe team may discuss the content & layout
 Participants will individually create a Poster on A3 size sheet provided by the
host school.
 One team member to explain their theme and to the jury.
 Participants my bring any colouring material such as crayons, oil pastels etc.
 Stencils, photographs, printouts or other non – hand – made elements not
allowed.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:
Relevance to the theme& Explanation 10
Artistic Composition 10
Overall Presentation 10

ACTIVITY 4
RHYTHM IN MOTION: GROUPDANCE
Let the beats roll and the stage light up with the energy of young performers, through dance
which is the hidden language of the soul. A celebration of rhythm, culture, and creativity will
be put up by the talented dancers, showcasing their skills, passion, and unique styles.

Class Level : IX & X


Date & Day : 28th August, Thursday
Theme : ‘Steps of Decades’
No. of participants : Min-6, Max-8
Costume : As per the theme chosen
Time for the event : 4 – 5 minutes

Rules:
1)Participants must choreograph and perform a group dance on the theme ‘Steps of
Decades’, that creatively showcases the evolution of dance styles across different decades
(ranging from the 1970s to the 2020s).
2)The school may select any continuous period of ten years within this broad timeline.
3.The chosen decade does not have to start from a juncture year (like 1970, 1980, etc.); it can
be any 10-year span (e.g., 1973–1983 or 1997–2007).
4.The time allowed for each performance is a maximum of 5 mins.
5.Use of props is allowed and encouraged, provided they enhance the theme and are
manageable within the performance.
6.Songs and background tracks may be chosen freely from any source or era, as long as they
align with the theme.
7.Participants must wear costumes that reflect the fashion and vibe of the decades being
represented in their performance.
8.The performance must be recorded in a single take; no retakes are allowed. Audio mixing is
permitted. Visual effects may be added after the recording. The video must be clearly visible
and audible.
9. Judges ’decision will be final and binding

Judgement Criteria:
1. Choreography - 10
2. Synchronisation - 05
3. Theme relevance - 05
4. Costume and presentation - 10
 Only TWO teachers should escort the students.(for all the FOUR Events)
 The school must participate at least in THREE of the events.
 The entry to be submitted/mailed by Thursday 7th August’ 25.
 Last minute entries will not be entertained.
 The decision of the judges will be final & binding
 All the participants must wear school ID cards.
 Marks will be deducted for exceeding the given time limit.

 Winning trophy will be given to the school that participates in all the
four events and scores maximum points.
 Individual prizes to the students securing Ist ,IInd,IIIrd position will be awarded,
in all the FOUR events.
