Today I would like to present the new work from the series Wild Fantasy. This series consists of the black-and-white pictures with colourful accent, made with pens. 

The ideas for these pictures come from doodles. You see, I like doodling so much, and sometimes I create something which starts living rent-free in my imagination. These doodles depict ladies in fancy outfits with colourful accent, accompanied by animals, and sometimes by plants (it depends from the background chosen for the picture). On the right sidebar of this blog there is a list "My Series", and here You may see the previous works of Wild Fantasy, if You are interested.

So, after this short introduction let's start a story about the Wild Fantasy's new work with brown accent.

So, one day I draw quite a fascinating rigout - a white blouse with 3 ornamental strips, and a brown skirt with one ornamental strip in lower part.

So, here comes the new work from the series Wild Fantasy which was developing for a quite long amount of time. I'm not even sure how long this post will be, it definitely will be pretty long (I hope you won't feel bored during reading this).

Before I get stuck in showing the creative process of today's work let me remind You what is Wild Fantasy. This series consists of the black-and-white pictures with colourful accent which were made with pens. All of them happened because of ideas recorded on paper as doodles - ideas showing ladies in outfits with colourful accent with animals, and sometimes with flowers (it depends from the background I chose for the picture - sometimes it's the environment, sometimes it's architecture). So far I've created images with colours like green, blue, red, and violet. Actually, back in 2023 I intended to make a picture with the yellow accent. Due to the certain circumstances, I've reached a conclusion that it would be better to realise a picture with violet accent first, and save the yellow one for later.

So now, let's start the long story about the Wild Fantasy with yellow accent.

This doodle was the starting point. Here you see long-haired lady with white top, and a full-length skirt with spiral ornament. This skirt was supposed to be yellow. As for spiral ornament - it's supposed to be Klimt's reference. I imagined this particular figure surrounded by an environment in the style of Art Nouveau.

In the past year I've made works like Green dress and fantasia amalfitana. They've got in common a few things: 

• they are the black-and-white pictures with a colourful accent, 
• I've made them with pens,
• there are ladies with colourful clothing, 
• animals are accompanying them,
• a doodle was a main inspiration.

I found so much pleasure in creating them, so I thought to myself that it would a splendid idea to make a new series (green dress and fantasia amalfitana will be a part of the series).

The only problem is a name for this new series - I don't know what would be a proper name.

Now let me show you my next work from new series!

Someday I drew this lady with a spectacular hairstyle. As you see she is wearing a flamboyant tunic. 

4 in 4: the Worries of Winter

Hello!

   I'm so sorry for my tardiness with making the next comic strip about 4 Seasons. Fortunately I overcame a few problems and made it before the first day of spring.

   I'm presenting you the second comic strip of "the Four Seasons in Four Frames". Below a comic strip you will find a translation of bubbles.

   Please, let me know if you like it. You could also leave here some ideas about 4 seasons.

1st Frame:

Well, winter goes on and on, and there's so little of snow. For a while it'll snow and then it'll quickly melt. Some people claim that Spring has already come... Pff! It's a fat chance she would like to!

2nd Frame: 

There's no doubt that it warmed up. With this kind of weather ALMOST everything melted.

In the first words I apologise - I didn't make an another comic strip from the cycle '4 in 4' to the end of January. Lots of things happen but I hope I'll publish the next one pretty soon.

Recently I've got a chance to read Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Hound of the Baskervilles. It was a great book and also pretty inspiring. When I stopped on Beryl Stapleton's first appearance I couldn't help drawing her. So I made a sketch on 10th January 2020.

Hello!

     The first thing I must say is sorry. I apologize for my long absence and disability in organising my own life (hope that I find a solution for my problems).

     Today I want to show a drawing of white-haired mermaid which is sitting on rocks. This sea creature seems pretty wild and also - thoughtful. I can't explain why I often draw people (mostly women) in the state of reverie or sadness. I think that's really intimate feeling, plus a message about inner struggles, longings, etc.

     Oh, and one more thing. Lately I'm using a pencil and a white crayon on a brown paper. I really love the effect - it reminds me sketches of Renaissance artists I saw long time ago (I don't remember particular examples, sorry).

Wintertime

Hello!

Well, you probably saw Winter finally, so you would noticed that I've changed my mind... but only about hairstyle. Thanks to this change icicles are more visible. I'm not a fan of "the Game of Thrones" so you won't see a title like "Winter is coming" [although I like Sean Bean]. :-D 

On the left side of my drawing, you'll see two shepherds. A Star is their road-sign to Bethlehem where the King was born.

A Winter's bag have got an inscription: MISSION: CHRISTMAS EVE 2016.

A Green-haired Woman

Hello!

In the last days of August, I suddenly drew a lady. Yes, suddenly... When I woke up today, I didn't expect that in the evening I'll draw her... A Green-haired Woman.

My next step was using crayons. And her beautiful curly hair became green... Could this be an influence of a long interest in Manga? 

Who knows... :-)

I still wanted to draw umbrelLady... So I made it from 30 to 31 July (and gave to Somebody ;-).

When I finished using a pencil, I tried my new black pens... and I should admit that I was a little crazy when I was drawing ornaments on skirt and umbrella or another details. :-)

'A Summer'

Long time no see :-D

When I was wondering how should personification of summer look like? Well, I imagined that every personification should be special... In that case, autumn (in reverie) has got a straight, long brown hair and dress decorated by colorful leaves. Spring has got a long, curly red hair, freckles and a green dress with a floral pattern.

Galadriel- an adventure is more colorful!

I would like to return to my drawing of Galadriel after a short break. Now I'm (slowly) going to come to an end this drawing.

Do you see a short person in the right lower corner? Yup, this is Gimli. Ultimately, I drew him there (lately, I wasn't sure where I should 'install' him)... because of a Galadriel's hair motif :-)

Next, I used a colours. I started with a skin and a hair of our protagonists.

As you see, I really wanted to hint somehow a Gimli's presence... You could see it in this picture (but now he was erased by rubber). Not only you could see a probable Gimli's profile, but also you could noticed a changes in Galadriel's appearance. Do you see a difference?

• Her hairstyle. I wanted to make her hair more beautiful and fine. I even prelongated them a little bit. Obviously, she holds a long wisp of hair. In addition, I erased an unruly fringe.
• Her dress. I decided to show Galadriel in a plain, gossamer and delicate dress. Especially, I changed her neckline (plus, I added a decorative sash, made from a pretty delicate material; sash is pinned by a tiny buttons) and long sleeves. 
• I also draw a Galadriel's foot. So you could notice Galadriel in motion.
• I also wanted to draw her reaching for a scissors, so...

Hello!

In the break of creating a Galadriel, I decided to show you my version of Summer personification. Honestly, I'm so dissapointed of this drawing... I haven't got any idea, so it could be the reason of appearance of this dress... I overacted with colours...

I want to leave a blond- haired girl with blue eyes... probably, I will definetely change her dress... because I think that idea about repeating the '4 seasons' cycle sounds very nice.

Dress of Winter

This is my idea about dress of Winter.

Her dress is decorated by icicles... I imagined a personification of winter in a blue and white dress with icicles... but I wasn't sure to colour of her hair (blond? black?)... And finally, I decided for black haired personification of winter (you know, in my cycle of 4 seasons I wanted to make every personification special and unique).

It would be nice to draw them again... because I still think that I could draw them better...

dress of Spring

Today is raining and winding. That's a reason why I added here a picture with personification of Spring. This drawing is a part of my little cycle The personifications of 4 seasons. And well, I wanted to draw this cycle one more time, in the future... Well, I must tell you, that the most studied personification by me is Autumn. The other one is Spring. Summer and Winter weren't as studied as Autumn and Spring unfortunately. I need to change it.

This picture is showing my image of this personification: long, red, curly hair with wreath and of course, beautiful green dress with flower pattern.

I like this conception as much as the Autumn one.

something strange with Japanese Girl

As a short break in story about Sisters I presented you my strange draft of Japanese wearing kimono. 

Honestly, I have no comment for the Japanese girl's background. 

Well, at first I draw a girl in kimono with dark red crayon, and next I used other colours to supplement the picture. Secondly, I draw a strange ornaments in the background. Next I used a pen for drawing a mystery lady with short hair and those squares.

Sisters - next chapter

This is my last version before colouring by crayons. 

I want to tell you something about this tree. At first I thought about cherry blossom (that's because of my interest in Japanese culture), I wanted to draw this tree because of its delicacy and beauty but... I didn't feel glad about this idea.

So I decided to choose an oak.

In this next chapter I'll show you my ideas about Sisters appearance and gesticulation. I'm sorry about quality of photos. I corrected a hairstyle of sister from the left side of picture and tried to make something with her arm. You could notice this in this photo above the text but I wasn't glad at all about it.

Finally, I draw her. She is keeping her hand on her sis's back. I draw them a costumes. When I finished drawing by a pencil, I continued my drawing with two black pens.
