a figure with a book (Caserta)

 HELLO!

Recently I was working on the drawing. I treated it as a form of exercise. My main model was a photo showing one of the statues from the garden in the Royal Palace of Caserta in Italy. I'm not sure who was pictured in this sculpture (I suspect it might be allegory of something associated with wisdom, or a goddess). The picture I'm talking about You will find HERE.

So, I took a pencil, a brown paper, and started drawing.

Soon afterwards I was not only using pencil but also a white crayon.

the Wise Man

 HELLO!

Sometimes I find a pleasure in experimenting with photographies and turning them into graphics.

This time I'd like to show a graphic called the Wise Man which was based on an old photography.

the Wise Man, graphic.

As you can see I used contrasting colours which gave quite interesting effect.

The main inspiration was an old photography. It shows a sculpture of an old man which was a part of the pulpit in church. Unfortunately I don't remember which church was that, and in which city of the Lower Silesia this church was located.

Although I've got a hunch I could have taken this photo in Ziębice.

Mentioned photography which was made on May 2015.

That's all.

What do you think about the Wise Man?

Feel free to share your opinion in comments section.

Have a Nice Day!

Bacchanalia in five graphics

 HELLO!

On certain rainy day I happened to be in Łazienki Park in Warsaw. In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful places in this city. There I noticed an interesting sculpture and took a photo.

You can look at the mentioned photograph below.

Bacchante holding a cluster of grapes, photo taken in 2016.
In my headcanon a pigeon which is sitting on Satyr's head
wants to join to Bacchanalia...

I decided to experiment a bit with this photograph because there was a lot of potential. So I created a few graphics.

Please, give them attention.

A drawing of sculpture

Hello!

Again - long time no see! Today I'm going to publish my drawing of sculpture. I chose a David made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. But I didn't draw a full sculpture... My drawing is based on a photo of Bernini's sculpture in the catalogue 'the Galleria Borghese. The Masterpieces'.

This is my drawing:
