Empfehlung: Prüfen Sie im Detail-Log, an welche Domains die „Lecks“ gehen. Handelt es sich um murena.com, e.foundation oder bekannte Analyse-Dienste (wie Matomo), können Sie diese Meldung ignorieren. Es findet kein Datenabfluss an Google, Facebook oder unbekannte Dritte statt.
Das dürfte ein wenig peinlich sein für Murena der Neue Browser ist Nee Daten Schleuder

In case you haven't heard yet, the European Court of Justice dismissed Google's appeal last week, which means that even if they tried to get away with it, they'll have to pay the €4.1 billion imposed by the European Commission in 2018. The lawsuit focused on Google abusing its dominance by requiring distributors of Android devices to bundle Google Search and Google Chrome.
This is why we don't stop at building a decent browser, but also go the extra mile and get involved in regulatory work. Having real choices it's crucial for a healthy market.

Czytam, że z wydaniem wersji 151 #Google #Chrome wyłączy już do końca (wcześniej były obejścia) możliwość korzystania z blockerów reklam, jak #uBlock Origin i podobne.
Kiedyś, kłopoty z blokowaniem reklam (ale nie tylko to) uśmierciły Internet Explorera.
Zastanawiam się, jaka będzie skala "odejść" od tej przeglądarki i na co osoby korzystające z Chrome ja zmienią. Dodam, że MS #Edge i #Opera deklarują podążanie za Google Chrome, więc w nich blokad reklam też nie będzie.

This follows many #browser makers ending updates 4 older operating systems, leaving legacy devices unable to use #web services without an #OS upgrade.
This kinda reminds me of the Java #website block by browsers a few years ago, just in reverse. (Revenge? ;)
Old #Android versions are also increasingly blocked from accessing the #Google #appstore.

Habt Ihr in den Einstellungen schon mal unter die Motorhaube geschaut oder benutzt Ihr Firefox einfach so wie installiert?
Früher ging das und man war der sicheren Seite. Heute sollte man bei den aktuellen Versionen aber den #Datenschutz und die #Privatsphäre prüfen und entsprechend einstellen.
Wer KI-Funktionen mag, der kann die Einstellungen so belassen. Wer keine #KI und keine #VPN mag, der muss das alles deaktivieren.
Ob man jetzt den #Microsoft #Copilot in Firefox benötigt oder Microsoft-Software überhaupt nicht auf seinem #Linux PC haben möchte, dass muss man auch selbst entscheiden und einstellen.
Die vergangenen Jahre aber, wo Mozilla Firefox grundsätzlich besser war, die sind leider vorbei.
For years now, Vivaldi has been my backup browser - the one I use when a site or service works better (or at all) with a Blink-based browser rather than Firefox.
Firefox's continuing slide into slop, surveillance, and advertising may mean Vivaldi becomes my primary - or only - browser.
But you know what would speed that up? If Vivaldi launched an experimental version of its browser using Servo as the rendering engine, rather than Blink.
Anyways... Vivaldi's great, everyone should use it over the other Blink / WebKit browsers.
