Post 197: Father's Day Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a simple and cute father's day card today. This is a top folding A2 size card. I have used a geometrical design stencil and the main colors as blue and green on the card to keep the project masculine. I loved the way the background came out with the stencil and distress ink blending. The critter images were stamped with archival ink and the heart with distress oxide. The sentiment was stamped on a strip of black cardstock in fossilized amber distress oxide but since it did not show up very brightly, I went over it with a white gel pen. In the end, embellished the card with a few silver sequins and a yellow half pearl.

List of Supplies:

Winnie & Walter: Scenery- Do you see what I see ? Creative Screenings

Post 184- CAS Birthday Card (seams)

Hi friends :)

How has your weekend been? It is Sunday night here, so the weekend is almost over. I spent a good deal of it crafting. How do you normally spend your weekends?

Today I'd like to share a CAS birthday card. This is a side folding 5 by 7 inches card. It is a fun and sweet card with an adorable bunny image. I had this stamp for a month now and I used it for the first time today. It was a lot of fun watercoloring the image :) So basically I've masked and done ink blending in the background with distress oxides. And then added some thread and 3 clear sequins to embellish the card and also tie into the theme of sewing. I've tried to use Neapolitan colors (pink, vanilla and chocolate). I tried to keep lots of white space to ensure the integrity of CAS is maintained.

List of Supplies:

Your Next stamp- Sprinkles: Sew Cute
Distress Oxide Inkpads- Worn Lipstick and fossilized Amber

Post 128: Bunny Wishes Card

Hi friends !

Thanks to all my new blog followers! :) I'm so excited that you've followed me on here. Thanks a bunch.

Today I'd like to share a cutesy bunny card.

This is a side folding A2 size card and there are 3 colors used on it besides the neutrals: blue, green and yellow.

Synopsis of the Process:

On the stitched rectangle die cut, I did some stamping from the Mudra Playful bunnies stamp set using archival jet black ink. Then water colored the images with zig markers and an aqua brush (even though this was not water color paper, since it was textured and thick cardstock, I will able to do water coloring). Then I heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on a snippet of black cardstock and then cut it into a banner shape. Adhered the sentiment with foam tape. Added some glossy accents to the gift the bunny is holding to give it some shine and dimension (sadly, it isn't quite visible in the pictures). Finished the card off with transparent sequins.

List of Supplies:
