Post 372: Cute CAS Christmas Card (penguin)

Hi friends!

I'd like to share a cute Clean and Simple Christmas Card I made. This was for a Guest Design Post at Tubby Craft Stamps. All the details are hereFor this CAS card, I stamped the Penguin from the Tubby Craft Penguin Love Stamp Set onto a snippet of Canson Watercolor paper, colored it with prisma color pencils and then fussy cut the image. Further, stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, on the kraft cardbase and foam mounted the image. Then added a few snow-like dots with a white gel pen. In the end, added a few silver sequins & silver stickles.

Here is a photo of the card:

Post 309: Floral Card (for you)

Hi friends!

I'd like to share a Floral Card today :) This was part of my DT work for Peekaboo Designs. All the details can be found here. I love the pretty roses in the stamp set I have used here. It is one of my current favorites.

Process:

1. Die cut Canson watercolor paper using the Scalloped Rectangle die. Then did loose watercoloring & created the drips on the stitched rectangle die cut
2. Stamped the beautiful flowers from the new Pretty Roses stamp onto watercolor paper, watercolored them using zig markers and an aqua brush and then fussy cut them. Also, added a few white dots to the flowers using a gel pen to make them pop
3. The sentiment was stamped from the Pretty Roses stamp onto a strip of white cardstock
4. Die cut black & white leaves using the Dual Leaf Die
5. The card was assembled by adhering the white die cut frame to a grey A2 card base. Then the fussy cut flowers & die cut leaves were arranged and adhered to the rectangle die cut. This was then foam mounted onto the card. Finally, the sentiment strip was foam mounted onto the card.

Here are a couple of photos of the card:

Post 297: CAS Diwali Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a Clean & Simple Diwali Card today.
I've inked the background with picket fence distress ink, masking off at a slant, then on a square die cut of kraft cardstock, used an Itsy Bitsy Stencil to ink the lotus using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide, added a few details to it with colored pencils and a white gel pen. Then stamped on the om and shree (which are religious symbols of good luck and blessings). Then stamped on the Happy Diwali from a Mudra stamp onto some vellum, tore it and adhered it to the card. Embellished the card with a few dew drops.
