I thank each and every one of you for the Christmas/New Year wishes, past I posted, these that came a tad later - let us start with our neighbor W who is my Dad´s age.
I do not like sweets.
That was the result Ingo found...
(All eaten up! By ME!!!! I can roll into Perth! I didn´t want any extra-calories, but my... that was double-yummy!!!! Beer still in the fridge).
Is that a German saying? "Through the flower" W let me know I.Should.Drive.A.Car again!!!!
I do believe in an emergency I can do that (haven´t since 2018).
Mailman Ingo never gets tired...
Thank you 😘
This was a superfun photo-card, but as I don´t know if I am allowed to share faces all you get is these wise words! Get dressed - SMILE 😊
Two last shots from our Market:
Wish me luck this will go for Freo as well!!!!

So much goodness for you and Ingo :)
I didn't send Christmas cards this year, only gave to my family, the cost of postage is ridiculous now. And I have 24 family birthdays between now and next Christmas!
Yes :-)
In my family we just call for birthdays. And it´s just 4 calls.
...keep smiling my friend!
What fun happy mail. And yes, that handwriting is elegant.
Hmm. Maybe I should send you my peppery almond recipe. It only takes about a half hour total (10 minutes on the stove, 10 in the oven and a little prep!). They are only slightly sweet but also spicy and peppery and nicely roasted! Love nuts!
Lovely selection of photos!
Tom, will do 😊

Jeanie, that sounds yummy indeed and nuts are healthy!
Yes, please send it!

magiceye, thank you.
I started sending cards to few cousins after my parents died so that we don't lose touch totally. Once a year there is contact.
Here contact ended after my parents died. Some cousins are much younger, some much older than me, so there is nothing we have in common...
I'm glad your card arrived. I didn't get out as many cards as I would have liked, but somehow time got away from-again. I have a phobia about writing cards because people picked on me when I was younger for my handwriting. That's pretty sad, isn't it? Thanks for sharing it on your blog, and I hope you're having a nice week. hugs-Erika
Lovely cards you received Iris! I am moving away from sweets now, I think sugar causes many health problems.
Erika, what??? They picked on you due to your handwriting??? What kind of people do that? I am sorry! Those were nasty, dumb people then! Erika, it´s an exhausting, but good week so far, hugs

Christine, I think a bit sweets don´t hurt, when you like them!
There candy that I think is way to sweet.
I really wish I didn't like sweets!! Nice that you got so much mail. I kind of miss it!
I send many cards, I guess. Well, with 12 siblings, 4 sons, 15 grandkids who are almost all adults now, cousins in England, and some close friends, the list gets long! The market picture with those old buildings is so cool. Here's to a very good New Year, Iris!
Dora, yes, some are way too sweet.

Spare Parts and Pics, the salty stuff isn´t better ;-)
Sorry you didn´t get old-fashioned mail!

Sue, 12 siblings! Wow! You sure were never lonely! My Brother was born when I was already 5 1/2, I sure was like an only child, jealous of others who had siblings to play with.
Must be great to have such a large family, with that: To a good New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We don't send cards and get very few. Yours are great!
Divers and Sundry, first time I sent some! As I love getting some :-)
