This is very clever, a super-engineer, that Louis Brennan! Scroll down for a video, if you like - there is an ad in the middle, skip it, and be amazed!
Wiki says: "The gyro monorail was never developed beyond the prototype stage.
The principal advantage of the monorail cited by Shilovsky is the suppression of hunting oscillation,
a speed limitation encountered by conventional railways at the time.
Also, sharper turns are possible compared to the 7 km radius of turn
typical of modern high-speed trains such as the TGV, because the vehicle will bank automatically on bends, like an aircraft,[1] so that no lateral centrifugal acceleration is experienced on board."
Amazing, isn´t it?
I am glad, though, that our trains run on two rails...
Henry 🦁
For sprints he can make up to 74 km/h. Scary, huh?

Cool, isn´t it?
Yeah, I'd feel safer on two rails
It would be like riding on a motorcycle. I'll take 2 rails please.
CJ, yes, but wasn´t that man a genius?

RedPat, yes, 2, please!!
These days I´m even afraid to co-ride a motorcycle - which was fun earlier!
Cool video. It looks amazing, but like you, I'm glad trains run on 2 tracks. I would think you'd be shifting a lot on this monrail.
Well that is astonishing! But I think I would not feel comfortable on that. Like an enclosed unicycle, with a track.
Definitely , Would Rather Run
Cheers
Erika, yes, today´s monorails look more safe!!
___
Sue, I would fall off that at once ;-)
____
Padre, me, also! If not as fast as Henry...
That's pretty weird, not sure I'd be on it.
The idea is WOW, but I would not hop on!
This is indeed amazing!
Woud I ride such a thing? No. No No No. It looks too much like it would tip over.
magiceye, he was a genius!
____
River, I think it cannot tip over, but I would not want to find out, either!
Amazing, unique -- and I'll pass!
New to me.
