In this special section, “Long Island Business Most Influential Long Islanders, 2024,’ we salute and recognize these 72 individuals—all of whom share a common theme—they are the best in their respective industries, and have demonstrated an active passion for ensuring Long Island is on the upper echelon of business leaders in the region.

Formerly known as “60 Most Influential Long Islanders,” we decided this year to remove the numerical designation. How could we narrow this down to just 60 individuals within a region comprising more than 8 million people and close to 100,000 businesses?

While the 72 influential Long Islanders chosen this year are just a sampling of those who spearhead the various business industries here in our region, we wanted to highlight these changemakers for their dedication, commitment and philanthropic efforts toward a better Long Island.

Whether accounting, law, banking, healthcare, real estate, nonprofits and others, each individual who appears in this year’s section is not only a thought leader, but someone who takes action within their respective industries.

As this is our final Influencers special section for 2024, we look forward to 2025, as we gear up for another year of highlighting Long Islanders who are admired and the best at what they do.
