Next U.S. Platoon, some "Basework" needed...
Another U.S. Platoon needs his bases. As my Internet connection was lost a few days I went on with these. Meanwhile the bases are finished and just need some washing and drybrushing. The Figures are from Caesar, Revell and Atlantic.
Ups, just recognized that the medic needs a red cross on the helmet....

Caesar, British Infantry, 1:72, Finished
Here we are! 35 Figures finished. And now to something totally different...
Yesterday I finished these 5 Figures and now I can start a new project.
It took a long time, but it was a pleasure, as always when I´m painting Caesar - Minis. I hope, the mate who get´s them will be pleased with the results.

Please Excuse the pictures. One of my fotolamps is broken as well as my tripod.

The first (nearly) finished Figure of the year...
After a crahsdown of my computer harddisk and the purchase of a new computer last week I was able to (nearly) finish the first figure of the year. A british Infantrist by Ceasar. It will get a light drybrush and a layer of matt varnish.
By the way: I´m very happy that I had an external harddisk with copies of my pictures....

Happy new year!
O.k. I´m a little bit late, but I wish you all a happy new year, health, fun, a lot of time for our hobby and (....please enter your favorite wish....)
For a start I want to finish these British Soldiers. This is only an example, I paint the whole set at the moment. I hope to go on this week, because I´ve got a few days off!

5,5 inch cannon, Airfix, 1:76 & Italeri German PaK Crew
I know that you know that I know that this Crew doesn`t fit to the Gun ;-)
But nevertheless I put them togehther, because I´ve got no british gun crew at the moment and I finished this Gun yesterday. And a picture without Crew is so empty. I also reworked the PaK Crew and would call them "finished", too.

Caesar. U.S. Infantry, 1:72
Today just a small update. I´ve got a bad cold and it´s difficult to paint when shaking and coughing all the time.
Have a nice weekend, whereever you are!

Italeri, German Pak Crew, 1:72
Inspired by a tutorial by Wiking (Wiking Paintworks) in the Behind-Omaha Forum I tried to paint these figures with a "Splintertarnung". My problem was I needed a very fine brush wich I hadn`t at home. But I tried it nevertheless. The result is o.k. for me, but the "Rain-Stripes" are too big. That was the best I could do. Next time I will try a toothpick for finer lines.

And welcome to CPBelt & jacksarge! Nice to have you here!
EDIT: I don´t know how to change the colours of the links in the text. But if you`re íntersted please klick at "tutorial" and Wiking Paintworks in the text above!

Pegasus, Waffen XX Set 2, 1:72
After weeks of missing my favorite hobby I managed to go on with these figures. They´re nearly finished. A drop of ogryn flesh is missing on one figure and because they´re to glossy they need a layer of matt varnish. I also finished two U.S. Infantrymen. And I hope to complete the painting of a Sherman tonight.

It feels good to be back in buisness ;-)

Russian Infantry (Winter)
I want to add these figures to my "Behind Omaha" Forces, as there will be a List with russian stuff for this game. The figures were painted during the last two years and now I started putting them on bases.
I want to make two different units, one for summer and one for winter. This is part one: "Winter"
