Russian Infantry (Winter)
I want to add these figures to my "Behind Omaha" Forces, as there will be a List with russian stuff for this game. The figures were painted during the last two years and now I started putting them on bases.

T 34 update, Zvezda, 1:72 & Comparison with T 34 Matchbox 1:76
I went on with painting the Zvezda T34. The basics are finished, now the decals will follow and then the details. Al from 20th century wargames asked for a comparison. Here it is. Unfortunately I´ve only got this old Matchbox-Kit for this purpose. But I promised it....;-)

T 34 update, Zvezda, 1:72
Today just a little update. I primecoated the T 34 with black, painted it with Vallejo "German Luftwaffe Green" and started to paint the tracks. I used "Mudbrown" because I want to have dirty tracks.
Still a lot to do, but I´m back in buisness...

T 34, Zvezda, 1:72
Hello my friends out there! Seems that my wrist is o.k. now and I´m able to go on at the "Kit Building Front".For a start I built this "Snap-Kit" from Zvezda. I was surprised that no glue was needed. Especially the tracks, consisting of 4 parts each side can be built without glue. But you have to follow strictly the plan. I made the mistake to snap some wheels togehter in the wrong order. When assembling the tracks I recognized, that the wheels in front of the tank must be assembled in another way and then they broke when I tried to strip them down. My fault!
It is a very nice kit, indeed. Still got the Tiger in my stock. Perhabs that one will follow next week?
Here you`ve got a link to an older Post with the sprue of this T 34:

JS-2 Stalin, Italeri, update
Weekend!!! After a hard week two days of recreation are welcome...Yesterday afternoon I continued the work on the JS-2. After a preparation with "Glänzer" I put on the decals. Then the tank was washed with diluted oil colours (Burnt Umbra). I have to admit that the result is a still very clean tank.Hmm, I think I have to do te last step again. A nice weekend to all of you!
And welcome to Laughing Ferret! I love your Blood Bowl Team. Wonderful...Here you can find them http://laughingferret.blogspot.com/

Zvezda, Art of Tactic, T 34, Panzer II & III, 1:100
Nothing spectacular today, just a few new kits. They are from Zvezda´s "Art of Tactic" game and I bought them because I collect the 1:100 scale and want to make a comparison with my Roskopf-Modells.
First of all a T 34
A Panzer II.
A Panzer III
A russian Truck, I don´t know the type.
Last but not least the good old Opel Blitz Truck.

JS-2 Stalin, Italeri, Update 2
I continued my work on the JS-2. I used "Revell Plasto" to fill the gaps between the turret and the gun and edged it with sand paper. I think it is o.k. Then I painted the rest of the tank, the tracks and road wheels. At the end I started with a wash.

Russian Infantry, Stalingrad, Fantassin, 1:72, Finished
As you can see I´m working on the design of this Blog. I hope that this one is o.k.
Yesterday I wnt on with the Russians. The first four are finished. I gave them a light drybrush and had to paint a few spots, where the colour was to thin.
At the moment I´m working on a Matador (Truck Month)from Airfix. It was nearly finished and because I´ve got one day off it s time to go on. I painted the driver and applicated the decals. Pictures will follow this evening!

Russian Infantry, Stalingrad, Fantassin, 1:72
Today I want to show you a few pictures of the progress of my Fantassin Russians. The figure in front is nearly finished, a drybrush will complete this one. The others are in different stages of painting. When I made these pictures, the figures were still wet from "washing" with GW Devlon Mud and Ogryn Flesh.
The first step was a primary coat with Army Painter "Skullbone flesh"
Then I painted the faces with Vallejo Flesh
The coats were painted in "Tan Earth", the barrets and the gloves in "Khaki".
The bags and rucksacks were painted in "German Camo beige", the wooden parts with Revell "Holzbraun" and the boots with Revell "Anthrazit".

Fantassin, Russian Infantry, 1:72
On 25th of December I won an auction at ebay. Last week finally the figures arrived. I told you about the Tank-Crews from Fantassin some time ago. Now it is the Russian Infanty (Stalingrad). Some interesting poses and nice details, but the lying figures with the MG`s are not the best ones. Perhabs after a lot of work they will be usable. But take a look...
