Cosmos flowers - Kosmoskukka

I wanted to make a floral card and use stamps I've not used in a while, so I chose these Cosmos stamps by Honey Bee Stamps. I coloured them with my Copics and die cut them with the matching dies. I wanted the flowers to be the centre of the attention so I left the background very simple. I chose linen textured card base and die cut the frame with Penny Black's  Ribbon Stackers dies and adhered the frame straight onto the card base. I actually die cut the frame 3 times and stacked all the frames on top of each other so that they're a little raised from the card base. I stamped the sentiment ('Huge Congrats' in Finnish), adhered the flowers and embellished the card with some golden sequins.

Tein kukkakortin leimoilla, joita en ole hetkeen käyttänyt. Nämä ovat Honey Bee Stampsin Cosmos-leimat. Väritin leimakuvat Copiceilla ja stanssasin irti. Halusin pitää taustan simppelinä, joten stanssasin kehyksen muutamaan kertaan Penny Blackin Ribbon Stackers -stansseilla, liimasin ne päällekkäin ja kiinnitin suoraan teksturoituun korttipohjaan. Sitten vain kukat kiinni, tekstileima ja kortin koristelu paljeteilla.

Tähän onnittelukorttiin käytin kukkaa Honey Bee Stampsin Cosmos-setistä ja väritin sen Copiceilla. Taustalle laitoin hieman kermanväristä kartonkia ja kuviopaperia, jonka reunan stanssasin Penny Blackin Curved Stitch -stanssilla. Lisäksi Dekoretten tekstileima.

For this birthday card I used a flower from Honey Bee Stamps set 'Cosmos'. I coloured it with my Copics. For the background I used some cream coloured cardstock and a piece of patterned paper that I die cut with 'Curved Stitch' die by Penny Black. I stamped my sentiment in black ink.

Keväisiä kukkia - Spring blossoms

Keväisiä kukkia on tässä kortissa, vaikka kevät taitaa vielä suht kaukana olla... Leimat ovat siis Honey Bee Stampsin Spring Blossoms -setistä, väritin ne Copiceilla. Tekstileima on Dekoretten, embossasin sen valkoisella. Bannerin stanssasin My Favorite Thingsin stanssilla. Lisäksi hieman kuviopaperia ja jokunen paljetti.

Spring is still far, far away but I have spring blossoms on my card. They come from the 'Spring Blossoms' set by Honey Bee Stamps and I coloured them with my Copics. I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder (the sentiment says 'On your special day') onto a banner that I die cut with a My Favorite Things die. For the background, I added a bit of patterned paper and some sequins.
