February 2016 Release UPDATE
*2/29 UPDATE: The store has been updated with the remaining items from last week's sale (refresh onelldesign.com/store). Please note there are very limited quantities of certain items. Thanks again for your support and patience.
We had some issues with our old friend PayPal last night, causing the inventory control to experience a meltdown, supposedly due to extra high traffic.
This resulted in the Varteryx Gotherrus being slightly oversold.
Those that ordered right before the store was closed will be receiving a direct refund on that particular figure, but the rest of your order will still remain intact and ship WITHOUT the Varteryx Gotherrus. We will notify you directly if you are receiving a refund on this figure. Please let us contact you.
All other orders from last night have already been processed and are being prepared for shipping. Packages will start hitting the post this Friday morning.
Michelle and I burned the midnight oil last night to nail down the actual numbers, so there would be no extended delays in getting all the orders out. We are shooting to reopen the store by next Monday, after we follow up with PayPal and get the back end secured.
Due to previous problems with PayPal, we have a series of internal controls that we use for every release. These controls (paper, pen and math) remain completely outside of the PayPal system. It is through these countermeasures that we have been able to spot inventory discrepancies before they spiral out of control (like the "Paypocalypse" of June 2013). The last PayPal inventory issue occurred in July 2015 during our 8th anniversary wave. Our monitoring of the system back then caught things before they went nuts, but we did oversell one figure during that round as well.
We'll keep you guys updated on everything as we move along. Also, we're discussing potentially running another round of the Varteryx Gotherrus, so feel free to leave your input in the comments section below and we'll see what the interest level is.
Sincere thanks from Michelle, Marc and I for your patience and understanding as we square everything away. We truly apologize for the difficulties that some of you experienced last night and 100% share in your justified frustration. The team is working on all cylinders to rectify the situation.
Not many folks can break PayPal, especially three separate times. You guys are still a real force to be reckoned with, even after nearly 9 years.

Thank You!!!
Skeleden has been a work in progress for exactly one year, with the original design sketches being drafted in early February 2014. What started out as a small option for a basic Traveler turned into something much more involved, becoming a significant part of our 2015 plan along the way.
The core design of Skeleden was intended to be a mix of Villser, Pheyaos, Mori's classic Chaos, Inhumanoids, Manglors and of course Skeleton Warriors -with a dash of 90's era Spawn stirred in. Pushing the more biological narrative to the sculpted parts was the central aesthetic focus, and proved to be a trip to explore with the always great George Gaspar of October Toys. The dual duties on the sculpting brought something unique to the final look, and I'm very thankful for George's willingness to deal with my eccentricities during the process.
The actual slide on armor concept used on Skeleden actually came from another project that I had been working on in late 2013, which was a more "Glyos Space" looking set of armor parts that were to be used as an upgrade for the Traveler, Glyan, Buildman, Noboto and Callgrim molds. The basic dimensions of most of our stuff is lined up by design, and I spent an unholy amount of time trying to devise a simple optional armor set that could augment our already exiting figures at a low cost to purchase. Kind of like the idea behind the Armored Valkyries from Macross, or the beefed up armor parts from Spiral Zone. The majority of the sculpting for that "Glyarmor" project was actually completed, and then the Skeleden factor came into play. Things just rolled into a giant bone armored beast from that point, spawning something even more bizarre than our usual oddities from space! Maybe we'll still see that original Glyarmor Set surface before long.
There are many hidden aspects to the Skeleden Armor, and successfully adjusting the measurements and tolerances to get everything to work just right was a true challenge. Over the next few days we'll pop up a few pics showing the little "tricks" that you can pull off with multiple sets, as well as some behind the scenes looks at the development of Skeleden.
Thank you again for checking out the new wave, and for reading this Labyrinth of Letters!

The Secret Beneath the Ice
The store is LIVE!
Edit: All limits have been lifted. Thank you!
You may place ONE ORDER WITHIN THE FIRST HOUR tonight. We are seeing a high volume of traffic and need everyone's cooperation to make this as smooth as possible. After the initial dust settles, we will lift all limits. Thanks for your understanding and support. Have fun!

Dead Presidents: Behind the Scenes
Painting Warlord Matt Walker sent over these pics of our latest collaboration in progress. Getting a glance at what Matt puts into his production system is a real eye opener. Look at all those sticks! These figures are part of the second Custom Corps production run (Nemica Gobon being the first) with Dead Presidents, meaning all the figures are painted in a similar style as opposed to the blind bagged random approach to Custom Corps 2.0. This new run is actually a set of two figures plus a Phase Arm/Gobon Blaster. All parts are fully painted by Matt and clear coated for durability. Matt also modified the Gobon so that the body comes apart easier than the Nemica Gobon. Some other special parts to the puzzle will be revealed when the figures are released. On a side note, did any of you guys ever listen to the old metal group Stryper? I think they were the first Christian metal band and man did they have some gravity defying hair. Well I stand guilty of still listening to them (and TNT, Lillian Axe, Riot and T-Ride) and I've always loved that "Yellow and Black Attack!" angle they used to use. So yeah, this colorway was born from my love of 80's cheeseball heavy metal. Forgive me.

Reinforced and Ready Again
The new wave is finally ready to go! Refresh every page! Thanks so much to all you guys for yet another display of incredible patience. I will always truly appreciate everything that all of you have done for us over here. As we roll out each new release the level of intensity continues to get higher, and sometimes we get behind (all the time). It's our collective goal to make each project we do something that can be enjoyed and then taken into the unknown of the imagination- creating something brand new that can be shared and appreciated by kindred spirits. We hope that the new stuff inspires your creativity and continues to bring us all together as we navigate this strange and incredible journey. And now some very important things. I want to raise a glass to Marc for taking the Passcode to another level. This dedicated machine put in an unbelievable amount of creativity, time and effort into what is our best animated tale of the Glyos System to date. Not to mention dealing with my insanity for far too long. Thanks Marcus, you've accomplished something glorious. I want to say congratulations to my wife and partner in multiple crimes, Michelle, who can finally see her long overdue creation Gobon roll off the assembly line and into the world. Sorry it took me so long Noni, he was a hard bugger to get to cooperate. Though he's not popping up over here (yet), get ready for the amazing Callgrim to make his online debut at www.callgrim.com very soon. Jesse continues to show us all how it's done with his powerful painting skills and killer toy design work. Thanks to my bearded brother, Glyos will be getting some anti heroes with extra bite, knees, elbows... and guns! Jesse, seeing you hold Callgrim in your hand after all this time makes me happier than when I first held Pheyden, you deserve all the great things coming your way. Massive thanks to Rich Vreeland, aka Disasterpeace, for his amazing musical contributions to the Passcode and letting us pillage his entire catalog. Rich, you are an original and brilliant composer. One last shout out- to the master, Ron Daley. Everything I've ever done that even remotely came out good was done side by side with this genius. Ron, I'm looking forward to our next round of building madness, King Crayboth is ready to surface! Thanks again to all of you for sticking with us- we're still alive because of your continued encouragement, understanding and support.
