Extra big thanks for a super release! Task Force Volkriun is one of our old school selections, so we really wanted to offer something fun for its return to action. The combination of crossovers (thank you John and Jesse D!) allowed for some truly open ended build potential, and once again granted access to further explorations of the Variable Reflex Driver story arc. I've been wanting to build some super charged TFV green machines for years!
The Xenodeth Villser is another one that's been waiting in the wings since the original sculpt was completed, particularly in the "Morphic Creeper" configuration shown above. By swapping the "brains' and "bio-croissants" on these two new colors, you get even closer to the Giger inspired look that's a deep part of the Villser's design DNA. Those familiar with the early iterations of the Xenomorph from the classic Alien film will understand the clear cream tint choice and its significance.
Looking down the road a bit, we'll be rolling out our next wave in early April, which will wrap up the mini Real Type trilogy of releases that started in January. Expect some colors that line up well alongside both the Glyaxia Rangers and Task Force Volkriun assortments.
All orders placed up until a few hours ago have been packed, processed and shipped. Michelle and Pj were both totally in the zone as usual, keeping things from overwhelming the barn as the boxes and tape were flying around. They are absolutely the reason that the orders move out the door so quickly. Some NewRetroWave mixes and a generous helping of Hall & Oates made up the soundtrack in the packatorium this time.
Special thanks to Ralph for delivering not one, but three beautiful illustrations. I think he could make just about anything look a thousand times cooler than it really is with that superhuman talent of his.
Thanks again for the great response to Task Force Volkriun's return. These colors are very special to us because they were first explored by the great Dave "Pappysoup" Pappas , a gifted writer, dedicated veteran and true friend. Long live Pappysoup! This one is dedicated to you!

New Assignment
We wanted to close out the year with a little variety, so green and gray (Gundam MSV props) are not the only colors on deck.
One important point of interest is that the new Armorvor head is still in the retooling stage, as getting the mold just right has been one of the more challenging things I've personally rumbled with since we started full production. What this means is that there will be no new Armorvors until the mold modifications are nailed down completely. Currently, the earliest planned release is for late January 2015, with our first assortment of the new year. It seems that the old wolf head was not very pleased with our decision to replace its furry noggin. I have been documenting the entire process, and as promised in earlier posts, I would like to share the high strangeness that has been this project with all of you as we roll into December. Hopefully when you see this new head, the wait will have been worth it.
More pics and the list will be popping up soon!

The Trio
We have a couple little surprises left to wrap up our 5th anniversary launch, starting with the second half of Ralph's primitive comic that we debuted on the night of the drop.
It was really fun teaming up with Ralph again for this odd little tale. We wanted to explore a little more of Volkria, back before things got... "complicated". Ralph brought everything together with his rhythmic pacing, and was very patient in dealing with my nitpicking ways.
This launch generated more artwork across our ranks than any previous drop in our 5 year history. I must have drawn at least 70 drawings alone of conceptual junk. Thankfully Ralph, Jesse, Phil, Pappy and good old Marcus turned those demented scribblings into a stack of finely crafted content, thanks 100% to their individual talents. Thank you guys, for making these strange stories come to life.
Without further ado, let's go Far Away....

Stage 4: Lost Wave
It's more than appropriate that we get some new fiction from the tactical wordsmith known as Pappysoup, considering that the Task Force Volkriun colorway was selected by him. Head over to the Pappysoup's blog and check out his two latest tales of the MTs- start here and then it's Go Time.
Thanks again, Dave, for bringing one of the coolest greens into the Glyos System we could ever have asked for. Long live the Lost Wave!

So Close!
I know, this is starting to feel like that old hell ride we all took back in the day, but we are literally almost there. We need until 10PM! With this much content, it takes a toll on our minds! One more sneak! Remember these guys?

Task Force Volkriun Returns
To celebrate our 5th year anniversary making full production Glyos, we have some fun stuff in store for the upcoming drop, which will be next Friday, July 27th at 9:30 PM EDT.
First up, Task Force Volkriun returns, almost exactly one year since its last release. To add some spice, a secondary color has been added (Volkriun Commandos), as well as a full assortment of vinyl to match. Every one of the PVC molds have also returned to action, so that means ol' Gobon is back (in both colors)!
The next bit of news is that we will see the return of some story content (beyond the usual photos and blurbs)! Marcus and I have been working very hard on an all new story that should throw some curveballs you may want to swing at. We're super psyched to show this thing to you guys!
There will be some big surprises the night of the actual drop, ranging from new figures to additional content that has also been cooking for a bit. This will be one of the bigger drops of 2012 for us, so all kinds of craziness is being prepared.
I personally love the Pappysoup MT green, and have been kind of dying to finally bring it back. The secondary color looks a bit like Lorcassic green in the above photos, but it's an entirely different hue. To try and make this an even more cohesive building wave, all of the "visors" are painted the same PMS 374C throughout the entire assortment, on both PVC colors. I've been building with this new wave, and having the visors match adds such a neat unity to the final constructions, something that up until now we really haven't explored before. I hope you guys like it.
The full list for the drop will be up tomorrow in the early evening, along with some more pics.
I'm pretty excited for this one!

Morning Maneuvers
Recently I was lucky enough to take a "break of dawn" kayak excursion with none other than the legendary Pappysoup, over at Bare Hill Pond in Harvard, MA.
Of course I brought along a few companions for the trip, as evidenced by the lily pad crouching going on in the above pictures (iPod shots). What an incredible place, with a glass like surface on the water that looked unreal. Pappy was a fishing machine and we explored just about every corner of the pond (I saw a turtle as well).
All of these outdoor shots have been part of a process that is leading up to our end of July release, as nature plays an important part of certain aspects related to what we have been cooking. We want to make this drop something extra special, in honor of our 5th anniversary of making full production toys (which is this month).
Thanks for bearing with all of these nature shots, I personally hope some of you have been enjoying at least a few of them. They were really fun to shoot!
Michelle, Marc, Megan, Jesse and I would like to wish everybody an awesome SDCC this week! We already miss seeing all of our old friends, but have been having a great time being with our families after so many years of heading out west for the big show. On a related note, NYCC is shaping up to be pretty packed with a solid roster of awesome artists, so maybe keep some time open in October and be prepared to eat after the show!
Sneaks of the July release are on deck and will be popping up very soon!

Intelligence Report
Pappysoup rolls out another tale of the MTs with his new short story "Dead Time" over at pappysoup.com!

Pappysoup Rides Again
The mysterious and legendary (at least in our household) Pappysoup has finally returned from his covert operations and hits the ground running with an all new entry into his ongoing MT-01 saga!
Head over to pappysoup.com and check out his "short report" called Heavy Casualties, which catches us up with the battle hardened Gendrones of the MT Unit and their hard boiled leader, MT-01.
Pappysoup and I have collaborated on multiple Glyos related projects in the past (check out the sidebar on his blog), so getting the chance to do it again makes me extremely excited for what's to come. With his incredible imagination Pappy adds a unique dimension to the spinning of these tales.
Great to have you back Papioca!
