This question is with regard to updating a belief of an agent.

The scenario is like this.

Agent A operates a GUI through which data is collected and sent to agent D.
I defined a literal for an achievement goal called "rundaily" for agent A
which captures the GUI event and sends the data to agent D

On agent A the defined plans are as follows

On agent D the plans to handle the requests from agent A are defined as
follows - this plan executes correctly and produces a list of 44 Items

The problem I have is this. I need agent A to update the list he receives
from D every time rundaily plan is executed. To check if it works i used
-+daily_A which produces the following error.

if I omit -+daily_A the code runs fine but the list A receives from D gets
updated only at the first execution, because after the first execution A
already believes that daily_A is true.
How do I ensure that A's daily_A belief is updated every time the button is
clicked on the GUI?

Hi, the file is at src/jason/asSyntax/parser (AS2JavaParser.jcc). Then use 	ant to generate the parser classes.

Hi Jomi,
That's really strange. In as2j.java file, most of these changes were caused by the presence of new  term 'final' in the method signatures of the original parser files . Also, most of the comments are removed in these original files. May be it is due to some version difference in the javacc compiler, or any parameters you gave when running the javacc?
I had to merge the modifications manually to the parser files, and my solution is working as expected. However, this is a very tedious and error-prone task.

Surangika, we use the classes generate by JavaCC without any manual modification. I don't know in details how JavaCC produces these classes, but I guess that even small changes in the original specification (.jcc) will produce quite different classes.

A little observation I thought I should share.

In the beliefset table mentioned above the date column is of SQL data type
DATETIME.
When I query the beliefset as per Jomi's instructions I have to give the ( D
> "08/14/10" ) segment in the following format

.findall(R, rainfall(D,_,R) & D > timestamp(2010,7,14,0,0,0), LF);

As you can see the MONTH value I have to give is 1 less than the actual
month. e.g to query for august (08th Month) I have to give 7 instead of 8.
This is only applicable for AgentSpeak code.

But writing to database is done correctly through AgentSpeak. Because of
this reason in MySQL querying can be done with the correct month value.

I am not sure why this happens. Just thought of letting all forum users know
in case somebody ran into similar problems.
