2012 365 #98 - super birthday
The gals over at Shopping our Stash have brought forth a B challenge this week and I grabbed hold...you can use any items starting with the letter B or a Bugaboo image...I did both...I have a Bugaboo image, blue paper, blocking of colours, borders, black brads and bling, a banner all wrapped up in a birthday card...now you don't need to throw that many things together to play along, but why not try and use up some of your stash and play along...all of this card was made using only stash...no new papers were injured during the making of this card....

2012 365 #96 - April Showers
This week's challenge over at Shopping our Stash is April Showers...or snow, or anything weather related, or rubber boots or rubber ducks or....you get the picture....I made this card out of all scraps and leftovers from other projects....the papers aren't really old (just bought them a few weekends ago for a crop, but used the scraps from a scrapbook page instead of hoarding them)...the cloud is the last of my weather puffy stickers...sad about that...those are soo cute....so bring out your stash and let's see how the weather gets you.

2012 365 #95 - monster birthday
The challenge this week at Shopping our Stash is masculine colours...this is one of my most difficult challenges...everything that could have a masculine feel always ends up girlie in the end...thought I was successful with this one...it looked boyish to me and then my hubby said why would make those monsters look so girlie and that there is wayyy too much ribbon for a boy card...I didn't even use ribbon...only raffia and that looks like trees and grass to me...what the heck? Everything on this card is stash...the tickets and starts were make and take leftovers from a crop a few weekends ago...the stamp is one of my favorite ones and the papers are leftovers from a scrapbook page...so let's see your testosterone fly and show us your masculine project...

2012 365 #94 - what else do you know?
The challenge set out by the Poohbahs over at the Opus Gluei this week is "what else do you know?" or a forgotten technique or items in your supply stash...I chose to do watercolour crayons...so forgotten that this tin was freshly opened for this sassy little stamp (my mom picked it up for me in Arizona and I couldn't wait to do something with it...it has only been in my possession for a couple of hours and has already seen ink...wahoozle!!!)...so come on out and join us, will you?

2012 365 #89 Beautiful girls
This week's project challenge over at Shopping our Stash is punch it out...I made this page with several different punches...large butterfly, small butterfly, circles of different sizes and a scalloped punch...this is a picture of my girls at the Seattle Aquarium this summer in Seattle just before we left for Alaska...that album is coming along nicely (yippee...maybe this one won't take me 3 years to finish???)...I also love the buttons on this page...they are so much fun that I bought about 50 of them...the circles were all images already printed on the back of one of these pattern papers and they happened to fit into my circle punch perfect perfectly, like the paper was designed for it...so come one out and throw us some punches...

The literal version of spring break
This is the literal version of "Spring Break" in our house...this was no April Fool's day joke....last night...the last day of spring break...anything to get out of going to school today and make that vacation last just a little bit longer...this is what happens when spring arrives super early in our neck of the woods...bicycles and left over winter road grunge just don't mix. The only bonus is that the cast should be off before summer holidays start....way to go Emily!!!
