Favorite colour - #18

This week's Challenge at The Order of the Opus Gluei is to use a favorite colour for your project...I have so many favorite colours to work with, and pink is one of my faves...I made this card for one of my girls to give to their ballet teacher as it just called her name when it was done...play along with us, will you?

3,2,1 - #17

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to use 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something...this is a great challenge for using up some of the loose embellishments in your stash...I had a few of these buttons left from a package and a little bit of leftover twine.  I used 3 flags, 2 buttons and one tag die to make this card...play along, will you?

Sparkle and shine #14-16

This weeks challenge at the Opus Gluei is to show us your sparkle and shine.  I used some embossing powder on the vellum on these cards which in real life is quite sparkly and shiny and so are the brads holding the vellum on the card.  I did a few of them as I seem to be needing way more sympathy cards than I like to need as of late.  Play along, will you?

Something new #13

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to use something new.  I got the die to make these box cards for Christmas from my girls and just had to try it out....it is so much fun and super addicting...I will be making tons of these cards in the future.  I also experimented with a few Christmas boxes and one with flamingos coming out of it, however I forgot to take a picture of them before handing them out...ooops...I will just have to make more I guess

Pretty in pink - #4-12

This week's challenge at Shopping our Stash is to use only one colour in a monochromatic scheme...as you all know we lost a dear member of our design team and if anyone has ever played along with her, you may know that her favorite colour was pink, so as a team we all chose pink as our monochromatic colour...this is my version...but I couldn't stop at just one....I had to experiment with other colours and stamps too:

 

Happy new year #1-3

This week's challenge at the Opus Gluei is to complete some unfinished objects in your crafting area.  That was my new year's resolution last year, so I didn't have many unfinished items hanging around, but I did find this kit hanging around that was not too appealing to me anymore.  I must have bought it 10 years ago and figured I should assemble it and get it out of here.  This year's goal for me is to make more than 500 cards...I sold a bunch of my Christmas cards this year and with each card sold, I donated $4.00 (which is the price I was asking for them) to the local mission for dinners for the homeless. My goal this year is to sell 250 cards so I can donate $1000 to local charities in my area....hoping it goes well.
